In hindsight that probably contributed to his mental breakdown a little later. My working theory is that Kraam has been in love (obsessed) with his best friend Rak for a long time.
He probably got close to Rak's boyfriend Mek and got himself shipped with him then finally seducing him just to get closer to Rak in some sick way. When the opposite happened and Rak unfriended him he lost it. If we take what Mek said to be true Kram didn't even care about being in the entertainment industry. All of imagined couple stuff was just to get closer to Rak through Mek. This is not to make any excuses for Mek btw.
Right after I say best not to take it too seriously I go ahead and psycho analyse the characters.🤷♂️
