How would anyone’s know what would happen to the Main characters it only aired 7 and peoples are guessing season…
The Promise is season 2 of Phupha | Nanfah. That's what I mean. My comment is based on the current series not any future seasons. But you're right sometimes you have to enjoy a show for what it is. I do that a lot. Even shows I'm currently watching. Not with this one though.

From the comments it looks like season 2 is going just as I feared it would. The mains going around in circles for 10 episodes. No character growth. Just dragging on and on. I maybe wouldn't mind if it was the same length as the prequel. I might have enjoyed it even but not this. Skip.
