I wouldn't say Taley is poorly written - I read novel to episode 3. Its more a problem of bad adaptation.

I like the show enough to keep watching for now. There's great chemistry among the cast especially between the leads but watching them go around in circles is so frustrating and not in a good way. How dense can Talay be? Sea is doing a fantastic job of portraying Talay. The character is just poorly written and this was intentional so it could drag on for a few more episodes. The acting and the chemistry are the only things that keep me coming back.
