I really enjoyed watching this every week. I will miss it. Does the story continue in the manga? I'm satisfied with the ending but I would love to see more.
Episode 5. Finally! And just like that Kiyoi won me over.
I know this character has been heavily criticized by some (myself included) for how he treats Hira. I can't count the number of times I've wanted to shake some sense into him. But you know what? It takes some people a while to figure themselves out and their feelings. I'm not letting him off the hook for his bad behavior but at least now I understand him better and I feel better cheering on this asshole. He finally gets it. Now what? After this episode my rating shot up to 10/10. Fight me!
I knew it was coming but my heart will breaks for Koyoma. That last ditched effort when he realizes the competition he's up against - spontaneous confession and hug. I forgot all about Kiyoi and Hira and felt so bad for him in that moment. Part of me still wants Hira to leave Kiyoi n the dust and choose him. And let's face it. Koyoma's reaction to Hira liking Kiyoi is the same as many of us. How can you like this jerk? But the heart wants what it wants.
