Neither is the actor, sorry "the guy" (who plays) Chika's ex-boyfriend! Nor most of the basketball team! Nor Leo and Leon's housekeeper! Nor Leo and Leon's mom! Nor the kids that play the younger versions of the two leads! Nor Fiat's stepmom! Nor his step/half sister! Nor half the cast for that matter! For shame!!!
If you're that outraged you can take the time to research the actor who plays King and submit for him to be added to the cast list for this series or to the database if it does not already exist. That's how contributions work. If it is really your intention to support him and his career you can start there. But something tells me that this is not really your intention.
It's interesting that the bad guy called "king" have darker skin, don't you think?
Not interesting at all considering the previous villain (Chika's ex-boyfriend) had lighter skin tone and probably the one after this will have lighter skin tone too. He isn't listed under cast either. Are you saying that the actor who played King (very well I have to say) should not have gotten the role for fear of being accused of colourism? So much for diversity. BTW the lighter skinned villain was an even worse character by comparison. Should darker skin toned actors be shunned by casting directors for villain or comedy roles? Should these actors not audition for them?
Yes, colourism is a problem in the Thai and larger Asian entertainment industry but this is not an example of that.
named Don't Say No? Every time they train they wear different NBA team jerseys. I couldn't stop laughing when…
Yes. That's how I see it as well. I didn't watch TTS2 so I don't know how much of the character was revealed. In the comments though some viewers who watched TTS2 feel that Fiat is being rewritten from how he was presented in TTS2 to make him more sympathetic and they find it annoying.
For me it makes no difference because this is my first time seeing Fiat. But it's good to hear another side of it. Basically you're saying the character wasn't that well developed in TTS2 anyway so what we are seeing now isn't really a change in how Fiat it written just more history and context. Nice.
Still, If they present every hookup he had prior to dating Leo as to save the world from some villain the storyline will get boring. Are all of his hookups or near hookups with bad people? Will we see anyone from his past that is half decent and not trying to use it against him?
Episode 6: Am I the only one that didn't realise that their basketball team is...
named Don't Say No? Every time they train they wear different NBA team jerseys. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the name on the score board and finally noticed it on their jerseys. The Don't Say Nos 55555 Really? A bit on the nose, no?
As someone who hasn't seen any TharnType yet any retcon to Fiat doesn't bother me as the character is bran new to me. Anyway it is well established that Fiat slept around a lot before finally dating Leo. Nothing wrong with showing that it wasn't all just for fun or to make Leo jealous. His promiscuous ways coming back to haunt him is already a running theme in the series. It will get tiresome though if every example of a past relationship that comes up has Fiat doing it for the greater good: to help a friend in need or to take one for the team. Shame on you for slut shaming him! 55555
Leon returned the favour and gave big bro good advice this week. Awesome. Still loving the chemistry between him and Pob. Based on the preview it looks like Mama Lion is gonna be the villain of the week next week. Say it ain't so.
Ugh. I'm out after the first 12 minutes of the first episode.Lamest, gayest, homophobic "bullies" ever. Spare…
I can't disagree with much of what you said. I was wondering myself what kind of asshole teacher does that, why Ozone gets mad at his only friend for not standing up for him when he makes 0 attempt to stand up for himself? I would understand being mad at Sun if he joined them but what he did was call them assholes and walk off. What you (Ozone) should have done is walk off with him. That was so annoying. I honestly thought the 2 bullies were a couple and were just teasing Ozone and Sun to be ironic or whatever. Then I realized oh I'm supposed to take them seriously. 55555
As frustrating as Ozone was to watch I think Earth played the character very well. He was believable. He was type casted. This happens. I would encourage him and his management to seek out different roles though.
I like this series a lot. It has a great story and a great cast (brilliant decision to rearrange the roles for the actors). But the pacing was just terrible and the excessive use of flashbacks was just more filler. It dragged unnecessarily in some places. It made me cry a bit and smile as well though. Beautifully shot as well. For me this would have been a 9-10 rating easy if each episode was 20-25 minutes. I'm a generous rater. But the pacing issues brought it down to a 6.5-7. And that's still being very generous.. I understand that there's a directors cut that will follow. Those tend to be a little longer even. Oh boy.
Came for Fiat & Leo but I am here for Pob & Leon. Their flirtation is too adorable. Not overdone either. All Leon needed was some advice from his big bro to make some progress.
Those squeaks, bells, whistles tho. I have to admit, I used to find the excessive sounds effects in Thai and Taiwanese series annoying but now I've come to appreciate it as a part of the charm.
Overall, story wise, can't Fiat & Leo catch a break? As @QueerDudeGermany asked below is it gonna be a villain of the week type of situation? You'd think they have gotten passed the worst of it finally confessing to each other after so many years but noooo.
I really enjoyed this. It's a low budget slice of life but with very well written dialogue, good acting and direction it wasn't boring at all for me. The ending is bittersweet and confusing though.
not Pob. What a misdirect. My bet is that Pob's interest in Leo has to do with his social work thesis the professor…
When the threatening letter and sex tape first popped up at the same time they show that Pob had some bad feelings toward Fiat and was interested in Leo. So I thought , Oh no it's him. But last episode we see it was somebody else completely unrelated. Also when Leon was talking to Pob, completely random professor comes up to Pob and congratulates him on his thesis he is working on and wants to discuss it with him. We and Leon (poor puppy) see his eyes light up when he mentions Leo and also see him stalking Leo a little bit. So it makes me think he has a crush on Leo but I'm willing to bet it's another misdirect and random professor's comment on Pob's thesis is the 1st clue.

Not dropping just yet.
