It will probably be on dramacool as well. B/c it's on Netflix it will be subbed.
I use kisskh.co for all the Korean Netflix releases. I hope they upload the Japanese releases as well. They do have some Japanse dramas on the website. My fingers are crossed.
Personally watched the kdrama and though it was extremely toxic, I loved the production and acting by the cast. Some of whom have become my favourites (potato boy being one of themπ). The ost's were also incredible, Sam Kim's 'Love me like that' being one of the best of 2021. I look forward how one of my all time favourite Japanese actor is going to portray this dubious character.
Finally figured out where I had seen him before β Doja Cat's 'Kiss Me More' video!!!
Alex Landi also played a (gay) doctor in Grey's Anatomy. I was so surprised and happy to see in a Korean drama. Couldn't find him on the cast list but maybe because he is an American actor, he doesn't have a page on MDL yet. Hope to see more of him!
The cinematography and editing were stunning. It was a newish plot to me and the execution of it by the star-studded cast was excellent. Having Kim Hae Sook and Oh Jung se in a drama, almost always means it's going to be brilliant.
When I first saw the casting I wasn't sure wether I would find the chemistry between Woo Do Hwan and Lee Youmi convincing, but boy was I proven wrong. Their chemistry is definitely in my top 5 of this year. Having seen more of Lee Youmi works, I can now say I'm a fan.
I would recommend this drama to all the slice of life drama lovers, who love a bit of comedy thrown in. Honestly, the humor in this was lovely and I found my cackling even during the high tension parts. Overall: great script performed by great actors with a brilliant director.
C-dramas have no mercy for animals and kidsπ and lusi often loses a kid friend in her dramas in a tragic way,…
They almost always kill the kids. Now whenever they introduce a child actor in a c-drama my first thought is: 'When are you going to die or be used for plot development?' I also wonder, if that's why we barely see any teenage or 15+ as journey friends. I think we mostly see them during flashbacks. Maybe because kid's deaths' hit harder...? Anyways, hate that writers always do this. For once I'd like a kid to survive a drama.
The sweetness of ep.16 was truly something else... We've entered the magical world of fluffy romance and I'm all…
The revenge isn't over yet. Zijing wants to clear the Yan's family name (I believe) or at least avenge them before he decides to live well. As Duanwu's family was also murdered, I believe she also wants to avenge her family and in this case with the black dragon bandits, her father who they murdered.
