These episodes are so unpredictable. Like the previews show everything and nothing at once.
A round of applause to Juhee for standing up to OYJ. Older Juhee is more level headed though I'm quite surprised she isn't angrier at the idea real SC unalived someone.
Real TY's arc is breaking my heart because while real SC suffered, as the mc it's expected he'd have lows and highs, but what did my TY do to deserve this? (ノ`⌒´)ノ┫:・┻┻
Anyway so in conclusion TY's dad in suspenders is hellfire 🥵

In all this angst, otp confusion, plot things--- I'm literally falling for Lee Jong Won's innocent smile (Real…
Same I want their bromance so bad they'd be such good brothers. And I miss how the real TY was as SC in the earlier episodes. I liked that he stood up for himself and had a naive outlook on life. But I really wanted him to become a webtoon artist and not get sucked into the void of capitalism.

Oh Yeo Jin is in no body side but hers she is with the money I dont like how she treated SeunghCheon when poor…
I don't like it either but I enjoy diabolical characters because nice in dramas is boring for me

Finally Taeyong got to experience the despair that comes with poverty, even if it was for a short while.
His life has been too smooth, but I think he's just lucky compared to Seungcheon.
Also the way the father removed his coat was so fine?!?!?! Had to replay that a couple of times. Whew.
I also enjoy Oh YeoJin too much because she's hard to predict. Like whose side are you on? Her moves are always well calculated.

Yes, when I started it I was like wait, did I accidentally start with part 2? Idk, I like to know characters just a little bit before the actual plot starts. Even if it's them brushing their teeth to a generic tune. This reminded of how porn usually starts for some reason 😂

This was a fun show to watch, I was happy to be part of the hype.

I just felt a bit underwhelmed by the finale, I don't think it was well plotted and thought out. The Mafia vs Minor family storyline didn't seem whole. I would have enjoyed more suspense and higher stakes.

And what were those explosions? The show looks expensive ASF, but I'm curious why the explosions were that lame.

As usual, I was satisfied with VegasPete. Not so much KP because I felt their usual communication was missing in this episode. As for KC well, I think Jeff Satur got the coolest fight scenes.

Still, I'd like a season 2, maybe told from Vegas's perspective where we get to learn more about his family's dynamic because at least the finale episode alluded to Gun being a complicated and interesting father. And how sweet was he to his bro and Pete? 🥺

And by the way, what was Gun going to say to Korn? ”Everyone must know the truth, that Vegas and Macau are...?"

His children? ????

My favorite scenes were when Vegas kissed Pete's tied hands and how Kinn kissed Porsche knuckles

Giving feedback on a show is apparently trolling now?

Whew you're lucky I got time today because you see, we now have access to water thanks to the thousands of wells built, so I have the energy to type up a long a** comment.
1. It IS a stereotype because we've seen this done BEFORE -- like a hundred times -- and because it's oversimplifying an entire continent to: lacks water and needs foreign saviour.
2. Depicting this on TV without any nuance only encourages racists who use the "Africa lacks water" as a punchline to enforce their racial superiority.
3. It also helps people take advantage of others' goodwill. Because at this moment NGOs in Africa have become ATMs. I might even go to SK now and start asking for funding to "build a well in poor Africa" because clearly they don't know better.
4. The build wells projects was "trendy" in the late 90s and early 2000s. Check your calendar, it's 2022. Even then I've yet to see one built in my district or districts where my extended family resides. So, according to you, my family and I may not be living the "real African life."
5. If you insist on a "real" depiction of SKorea in Africa, I'd have a better time believing it if the SKs were doing Christian Missionary work or were foreign exchange students or teaching Korean or diplomats, because it's how I know SKs in my country.
6. If you insist on a "real" depiction of East Asians in Africa then they'd mainly talk about them doing road and train projects or real estate projects or energy projects because that's what they do in most African countries, but an NGO for building wells ? Sounds like it's appropriating the white saviour narrative.
7. If you insist on a "real" depiction of NGOs in Africa then you'd know that they higher locals to do the technical and physical work because foreigners only occupy the high ranking jobs. In other words, all they'd do is cut a ribbon. But then if you were to do that, be real, you'd have to talk about the mismanagement of funds and how most of it goes to their salaries and inflating real estate prices...
8. And according to your comments, Africa suffering and cheering on foreign saviours is the only correct and "real" way to portray us, completely ignoring how diverse and resilient the continent is.
9. Genuinely, I see foreigners being worked up about Africa lacking water and being poor than Africans themselves. No for real, like, sit down.
10. Also if you insist on portraying Africa as a suffering continent I assure you access to water wouldn't top the list. You'd know this if you actually consumed African media.
11. But I know you're determined to have a narrow scope of Africa so please don't let me stop you.
