Parallel World from the Future
On When the Phone Rings Dec 27, 2024
Wow! I did not expect that plot twist. The writer knew how to misdirect and lead the audiences to different conclusions. Well done!

It's actually very high, it should be 5 or 6 at most.

They should have already given this series a closure... dragging things out like this doesn't make sense. I would…
That detective part after the games started, they were not needed at all since they split it into S02 and S03. Those boat scenes can fit in S03, giving it a "rescue" theme, giving S02 more screentime for games.

When the hell did this drama moved from 2 episodes per week to one per week???I thought nightmare would be over…
SBS held its annual SBS Awards event, so any show during that period of the awards night were postponed. And besides, E12 is the last, it's a good cliffhanger for the finale episode. 😝

JL, Steven and Juwon are THE trio and i don’t like how they were separated. Team Rhythm should win first and…
This is not a team game. Don't forget it still is an individual competition. The teams are there as a way to train the contestants.

It is why each team have a theme. Rhythm is dancing and choreography. Groove is vocals. Beat is music/composing or understanding and interpreting it well.

For example, JL and Woongki don't need further training as far as this competition is concerned. They're guaranteed to debut. They are safe whichever team they belong to.

Once there is a need to save someone, then Rhythm and Groove can just trade someone who needs saving.

In any case, we are already in the S round. After this round, it's the finals. For sure, JL and Woongki will be moved to the strongest team. I think that's what Groove is planning, they'll take JL and Woongki before the final round begins, completing the final 7. And guaranteeing another win.

The tricky part is, how much will the votes affect S round and M round. Because if the votes will remain upsetting the Mentor choices, then it doesn't matter which team they belong, the final individual votes will remain the deciding factor on who will be the final 7.

I have one serious question for the team leaders of Team Rhythym and Team Groove that really upsets me Why is…
It's strategy. The Managers want to give the others a chance.

Some of the top choices of the Managers and fans, like JL and Woongki, aligned which means the Managers can ignore them. JL and Woongki are guaranteed to debut at this point, there's no point in moving them around.

JL is helping his teammates. He even acts as their mentor. Woongki is the core of his team, he makes sure they perform well. Groove already have enough strong members. Let's say 2 to 3. That gives us 4 to 5 guaranteed debuters. They're still looking to develop 2-3 more to complete the final 7.

And, the Managers need to ensure their professionally chosen other members gets the exposure and training they need so voters will understand why them.

It's not a team game actually. It still is a talent search. They are basically Mentors. Their task is to bring out the hidden talents of the potential members, not to give more exposure to guaranteed debuters like JL and Woongki.

That's their strategy as Mentors. πŸ™‚

It's a risky format for F&F. They might end up with a less ideal debut 7, since fan votes have far too much sway. The Managers can't even save someone other to strategically move them to the strongest teams, so they can avoid the yellow card and continue their exposure.

They're experimenting if 99% fan votes will work. In Universe Ticket, the judges were accused of caving in to what F&F wants, so now they're giving fans the choice.

What the Managers can do is strategically move around their professional choices, to ensure they get the training and airtime neede to showcase their hidden talents. Like in upcoming S round, the Managers have complete control on their team's 7 performers. They'll be able to showcase their profesional choices and convince the voters why they chose their respective 7. If a candidates still failed after being given q chance, well, either fans are blinded too much by looks, or the candidate reached the peak of their talent.

Can they refuse to release someone?
Nope. The format is 99% voter-based. If they suddenly change that, there will be an uproar. They have to live with their choice of mechanics, whatever results on-site and global voting gives them.

Kim Minjung owned her character. I can tell she changed it to her style, interpreted it the way she wants, and it worked. You can still see the original vision of the writer for her character, but most of it is her own as far as E01 and E02 are concerned. A true veteran who knows what they're doing.

That's what's important in acting, interpreting the character your way and making it your own. The script is simply a guide.

Title Running Man
It's about time they addressed the situation of Ji Yeeun. She contributed a lot, literally revived the show with her different characters. I don't know if someone is mentoring her but she knows when to switch to a new character. That's what they all need, if it's time to switch to a new character, just do it. Experiment if they have to. Ji Yeeun demonstrated it is fine to switch and experiment.

I hope they'll give her, and their fans the best gift for 2025, an official announcement that she's a regular member. (She's practically a regular member already.)

It's a Channel A series, not a Netflix original. Netflix has only licensed it for streaming. So of course it follows…
Ahh. They're just the international distributor.

It's good. We can have a few months of sure hit drama to watch instead of binged watching. πŸ˜„

Can someone submit a request to change it to "The Haunted Palace"? I'm mobile, no option for that. "The Haunted Palace" is the final and official title in English.
