Parallel World from the Future

I was like am I the only one that noticed. I need to see what went down the night Consort Hwang and the physician…
But in fairness, he sure knows how to play both sides for his own benefit, and he isn't one to give up under pressure.

I guess that revelation about his mother is the driving force why he is willing to bring his secrets to his grave.

I'm suspecting he is the other living son the deposed Queen talked about; and it is why probably why he told the current Queen that he won't speak up as long as his mother is safe.

Considering how prideful and stuck up Uisung is, of his royal blood I can already predict he is not a son of the…
His mother not acting about it for years was suspicious enough. In a palace culture like theirs, what did she eat that she was so quiet and obedient?

Then in episode 6, surprise, surprise! There seems to be something romantic between her and the physician.

She only acted today because she saw an opportunity, and she's thinking that the Queen Mother is on her side. If Uisung is indeed the physician's son, then she's probably thinking now is her time to secure her son's future without anyone discovering his biological father.

In any case, the actress having that role is suspicious enough. Hahahahaha. She plays that role well. :p

I was confused too but don't worry, it becomes clearer with the following episodes.

So can someone clarify for me why the Queen hasn't out and out said to her sons that they need to get on the ball…
From what I can deduce from all the episodes so far, is that the four other sons are either (1) fight-or-flight (more on the flight); and (2) spoiled too much, they can't be trusted to act accordingly (which is their exact problem all the time).

Telling them the truth when they can't put themselves in check, to learn how to hide their thoughts, and not to act like 6-year-olds, will give the entire palace:
1. a laughingstock
2. the other factions, learning the Queen's camp is aware of what's happening
3. the Queen will have a harder time finding out who's who because their enemies will be extra careful

Maintaining the status quo for those four kids is more beneficial currently. She needs to train them first, to mould them as real princes, like their elder brother was.

The 2nd and 3rd sons are starting to act like real princes.
1. The 2nd prince owes his big brother, so he started to change.
2. The 3rd prince have a secret he has to keep at-all-costs; and through it, he learned to be careful, to be more matured, and to stop acting like a brat who only cares about what he wants.

When those two are ready, I have no doubt the Queen will tell them what's really happening in the palace. More likely, they will discover it themselves.

The 2nd prince is already far too observant for his own good, and will probably piece things together. The 3rd prince is quiet but observant too, a bit slow, but as he matures more, he'll start to see things no one else can see.

The 2 youngest sons, they're far from being useful and must still be protected. For example, when their big brother died, only them acted like 4-year-olds. The 2nd and 3rd princes were more composed.

So, from the Queen's perspective, if she tells her sons in their current maturity and knowledge the truth of the palace, either they'll try to escape-which would be a hell-or they'll continue to act like brats and expose the Queen to shame.

The truth always have a proper time to be revealed. If revealed at the wrong time, the truth can become the death of the hearer and the source. And in their palace culture, it can spell death for the queen and all of her sons.

Ahh, interesting.

In a way, we can say that even though it was an abusive relationship, both parties learned to love each other?

Title Love in Contract Spoiler
I finally caught up!
What if Mi Ho and Sang Eun are mother and daughter?

Mi Ho cared far too much about Sang Eun. It goes beyond being a project. And she appears to be holding herself back.

I'm suspecting she gave Sang Eun to some her relatives or in-laws, or some other parents, while keeping tabs on her.

One day, the flood came, and she's the only survivor, and was placed in an adoption center.

Then when the Ina group wanted a way to connect themselves to the richest group, Mi Ho found a way to give her secret daughter a better life. She orchestrated everything for her secret daughter.

However, while in the States, Sang Eun probably discovered that Mi Ho is her biological mother. Maybe she sneaked in Mi Ho's room, found something there.

So when the arranged marriage came, Sang Eun deliberately messed it up. This is why Sang Eun is taking care of Mi Ho, even to the point that she gave up all her assets just to bail Mi Ho out.

At least that's the only reason I can see why Sang Eun is wasted her money, and her life, for Mi Ho… if they truly are not related, and she's just a pet project. Sang Eun repeatedly showed how much she hates Mi Ho, and yet, she just can't get rid of her. She probably knew Mi Ho is her biological mother, and she is waiting for her to admit it.

Sang Eun could also be an unplanned child. But Mi Ho, as a mother, wants the best for her even if their real relationship goes with her to her grave.

I just noticed that Mu Jang is also from the Hot Stove League & The Veil lol Reunion everywhere
Yep, a lot of them worked together with Nam Koong Min. It was like a comeback series for him, or a tribute or something.

I'm suspecting the writer and director created the series just for him, and decided to take the other actors he worked with in the past, so it will be easy to bring out everyone's talents and skills. It does pay if actors worked together before, especially for the main characters.

Another commenter said, it could be a fan service because there are other Easter eggs in this show. I can not agree more, they left Easter eggs here and there.

Maybe some fan funded them? Hahaha.

Correct. It would explain why YuNa's death was different, it was probably SH. Remember the scene SH and YuNa saw each other that night? After that nothing. The next thing is YuNa was murdered.

Hmm… if so, I think you should submit that information to MDL and update the synopsis.

This is the first time I heard of it.

But regardless, it's a fiction, it is not a documentary. Just like how Titanic the movie was fiction and not a documentary.

With all due respect, do separate fiction from facts.

Title The Golden Spoon Spoiler
Episode 13 preview.
Looks like Fake TY really has a serious problem with his principles even after what Fake SC told him.

Anyway… what's interesting are:
1. It seems that Fake SC's birthday was also fake, that is why they did not switch.
2. Fake SC's biological father is now a mystery.
2.a. Could it be Fake SC and his uncle were switched? Or,
2.b. Fake SC and Fake TY were switched at birth?

3. Other question I'm curious about, re: Fake Father of Fake Yeo Jin
3.a. Whenever they switch, do their DNA remain the same?

Because if Fake Father decides to do a DNA matching, what would the result be? Not a match or a match?

Title The Golden Spoon Spoiler
Episode 12.
OH YEAH. In the end, fake Seung Cheong has proven he is a better person than fake Tae Young. That was the best exchange ever.

1. It was a slap to him that he made so much effort to switch the Golden Spoon with a fake one.

2. Fake SC still did not go through it. Another major slap to fake TY because he gave up his parents and chose money.

3. Fake SC told him the truth fake TY doesn't want to admit, his parents are the best parents in the world. He wants to be rich? Go ahead, be Tae Young forever.

Fake SC has proven to fake TY that money is not everything. That money can never buy genuine happiness. Nothing wrong with money, but letting it control you and twist your decisions is what is wrong.
