Shin Sung Rok, welcome back. What took you so long? Haha.

One of the few actors who makes sure no less than 90% of their roles are main characters.

Episode 2
Seriously? They spent an entire episode to establish the flashback? That was a waste.

For example, there was no need to show that he was bullied in the prison.
1. It is a given. Practically all prisons in the world are like that.
2. They later had a scene where his fiancé visited him and the guard denied her and even explained why.

If they are going to add that scene and let the guard explain what happened, then the bullying scene is useless.

Also, the bully scene doesn't add anything to the story. They can use that scene as a flashback in the latter episodes. The guard explained he got into a fight, he was placed in solitary confinement, then showed up in bed afterwards. The audience are not dumb.

I really like Ha Do Gwon, he's a versatile actor. You can give him any role and he'll make that character unique, his own masterpiece no one can ever duplicate.

This show is going to end next week and that's another masterpiece character under his belt. I waited for his scenes far more than the main characters.

Well done. Well done.

I guess that means see you in Bloody Heart.

Ooh, good point! There is indeed a possibility the client was murdered, especially the intense competition/hatred towards Soo Jae.

Title Why Her? Spoiler
After watching episode 1 …

Only a rookie would make that mistake: "I am the company, and the company is me."

I wonder why she made that mistake. Her being looked down upon was not it, she used that as her resolve to succeed even though she's a high school graduate only.

There is something else deep down driving her … to the point that she made a rookie mistake.

For other people, we could say "her success got way over her head" but it isn't in her case.

Was it because of the suicide? She got unnerved because of it? She understood the woman committed suicide as a challenge to her? The shoes, the business card, she even waited for her before she jumped.

But then again, a woman like her who doesn't waver even if a kid is on the line, wouldn't be affected by a suicide or a challenge like that.

There's definitely something else.

Yes, she revealed she has a project in her (correction made, not Instagram) official fan site after announcing…
To a non-showbiz guy 6 years her junior. She chose to keep his identity private because it might affect his line-of-work. The guy is a videographer.

They've been dating for 2 years according to her and the private wedding will be sometime end of this month.

She also revealed that she will work on a new project after their wedding and post-wedding plans.

Other than those, not much.

Shouldn’t this be dual tagged as Korean and Japanese?
In any case, the writer/director went to Korea for a Korean cast and to film there, so it was probably why SoKor takes priority in tagging instead of the writer/director's Nationality.

Personally, this one is very hard to categorize. All things equal, the writer/director should be the priority since it was his work, it's named after him, he wrote it, he directed it, and if I'm not mistaken, he funded and produced it himself too. Not to mention, he is a legend. Even if we consider the combined popularity of the Korean cast, they still do not come close.

Technically, yes. But I think MDL is very limited in features.

does the male lead just suddenly change to In-woo after episode 6?
By the time you watch it, official streaming services would have probably received the updates first 6 episodes with the new actor.

But if you will watch from illegal streaming services, you'll see the original actor in the first 6 episodes.

This. I was shocked when I saw so many negative comments because I thought the first 2 episodes were decent &…
Yeah. I just want to think those who expect 100% in adaptations have never watched a lot of adaptations at all.

I mean, anyone who've read fiction (in any medium) and watched animated and live-action adaptation should already know 100% faithfulness to the original work is [1] asking a lot; and [2] does not mean it will be great.

Even Harry Potter, the movie series was not even close to 90% faithfulness to the novels, a lot where changed to fit the live-action format as well as to appeal to a wider audience.

They need to broaden their minds. It's rare to get as close as 90% faithfulness in the live-action medium.
