In a way, yes, it is a continuation. And no, it actually make a lot of sense that Part 2 is about a different main…
I'm finishing a write-up of the franchise. It has gotten long so I'm converting it to a mini-wiki. I kept finding new clues so I kept rewriting too.

The final draft is far better.

I'll share it once it's ready. πŸ™‚

(It includes The Tyrant.)

Are they not allowed to say the word gay on tv or something?
Their hometown is a province. People there are often conservatives. Like in many other Pacific-Asian countries.

Title Our Unwritten Seoul Spoiler
I don't understand if Gyeong-gu really liked Meiji and was her ex-boyfriend or not. Can someone explain this to…
They both agreed to have a fake relationship.

GyeongGu's "practice" confession was actually real, he was confessing to that guy.

Hosu knew he's gay, that's why he asked him if he truly liker Miji. Turns out, he just said Miji because he's afraid he'll be outed.

Meanwhile, Miji talked to him and they agreed to fake their relationship. Miji probably knew from the start, that's why when he blurted out a confession, Miji agreed to make Hosu jealous.

wait so you’re trying to tell me that nothing happened after they fell from the third floor especially MiJi…
Miji hitting the concrete was actually not natural. No blood. No dizziness. No broken bones. No nothing.

Mirae is fine since she fell on the bush with thick bedsheets too.

But Miji… no way. 🀣🀣🀣 Miji channeled her inner Do Bong Soon!

Oh, and it's why Mirae is so timid, reserved, type. She's intentionally avoiding overworking her body. But Miji is always active and talkative.

I think that's the tell-tale sign between them that their father and Hosu noticed. Meanwhile, Miji's fake-ex and Miji's ex-bestfriend, knew because they didn't know the little details. Since they were close classmates, they learned how detect if the twins were switching: ask them about little details that only one twin knows. 🀣

is Mi-Rae still sick and does anyone know what she has?
Mirae is weaker, an in-born condition. She used to drink medicine when they were little kids, but Miji drank the medicine instad because Mirae hater it, in exchange, Mirae answered Miji's assignments because Mirae is more intelligent.

Then in the library scene between Hosu rnd Miji, they hinted that Miji was feeling guilty why Mirae was hospitalized and thus she isn't visiting her, she felt guilty drinking her medicine when they were kids, so now her heart is also weaker (hospitalization).

All things considered, I think Mirae cannot overwork herself physically. Hence, Mirae didn't climb the mountain.

The cases already feel too repetitive.I’m saying this just after two bcz as viewers, we can already guess how…
Give it until the halfway episode. Usually, the first half of a season (or series in Kdrama since they rarely do multiple seasons)β€”for this type of seriesβ€”is episodic before it switches to serial. We'll see some overarching plot once we reach halfway.

started watching this one but the comments are saying otherwise. should I drop.
You can skip the Japan arc (3 to 4 episodes before the finale episodes), they don't add anything to the plot.

Yep, we don't have a choice but to finish it since it's almost done. They better salvage it. 🀣🀣

Until the Japan arc. 🀣🀣🀣 It becomes a "WTF" (What The Fillers!) moment. 😝😝😝
I agree, but they didn't have to do it in Japan.

The main complaint of the majority is that when the Japan arc was forced into the narrative, they left their restaurant. The focus of the show was the FL's restaurant and the ML wanting it for himself, and the interaction of the four.

They could've remained in Korea so the leads didn't have to be absent from their restaurant and change the genre for 4(?) episodes.

The Japan arc forced a genre that was there in the first place: romantic break-up, in the sidelines is the sub-sub-sub-plot about the Japanese-owned French restaurant.

Yeah. It's surprsing that the gods of hell are lazy in this story. πŸ˜…

They probably are using him to send the Royal Family to hell, but when a shaman calls on one of them, they have no choice since the shaman's life is the payment for borrowing their power.

So the general gets to just walk away after all the deaths he caused?
He's dead. It's not like he can be punished by mortals.

Also, the entire premise of the story is to end grudges and cleanse those human souls so they can go to the heavenly road and start their journey towards their next life.

If their grudges are not cleansed, and they're caught by the gods of hell, then they'll suffer there. Otherwise, they can move on.

In Korean lore, the only ones who go straight to damnation are the ones who lived as criminals when they were still alive. If a human died because they were wronged, they carry a grudge. Any actions they do while the grudge is not cleansed is not on them.

If he was caught by FL with the power of one of the gods of hell, they will all suffer (including FL's grandmother). From their beliefs, it's much better to cleanse the grudge and free all those souls.

Wait, they (the leads) kissed twice, so they can have the romance tag, if they only kissed once then that would…
Yes. She told her "rival" they're getting married. ML also told the king about their wedding.

The child called the ML "father".

It's all in E16.

Why is there romance in the genre when there's no romance at all?
It qualifies under the romance genre perfectly. πŸ™‚

* a romance is a narrative genre in literature that involves a mysterious, adventurous, or spiritual story line where the focus is on a quest that involves bravery and strong values, not always a love interest.

* an example of a romance is a story in which the main character is a hero who must conquer various challenges as part of a quest. Each challenge could be its own story and can be taken out of the overall story without harming the plot.

* usually characterized by its treatment of chivalry, that came into being in France in the mid-12th century. It had antecedents in many prose works from classical antiquity (the so-called Greek romances), but as a distinctive genre it was developed in the context of the aristocratic courts of such patrons as Eleanor of Aquitaine.

In fairness, it was inspiring to get back into shape. πŸ™‚

I'm in a similar situation as some of the characters. It's so hard to get back into exercise because a heartbreak. It's 5 years ago already, I know I moved on, it's just that, I lack inspiration. 🀣 I understand logically that we need to stay in shape for health reasons, but, no push, no inspiration.

So, yeah, an inspiring show.

What The Chicken!

J/k, I'm not sure. If they sponsored the show, the name shown in some scenes is the real brand name. Otherwise, it's fiction or they avoided to include the brand in the show.
