He had a feeling that she is his old friend, he just makes sure that is true. And eventually, he were right about that. If u were curious about something, u would try to look about that thing further more right? He tried to make her feel comfortable at the town that used to hurt her and also try to helping her as far as he can (a bit too much but ye).
If u were talking about his character is like a dumb person, i could said yes, they potray him as some kind of that .

Yeah, its such a tiresome to wait for a cliffhanging story but u could still feel and remember the first part cuz its only couple weeks ago. And also, the first part itself has good story, not just an intro of the drama. Im kinda okay with that unless they prolong this kdrama story by adding more cliffhanger in this part.
