they could always come up with a reason for the contract; something like "WE MADE A CONATACR JUST IN CASE THAT SHE WOULD BE MISTREATED OVER NOT BEING NOBLE, SO WE PROMISED THAT IF SOMETHING WERE TO HAPPEN WE WOULS DIVORCE TO PROTECT HER" a reason like that can be easly accepted, becuz it makes sense with all that happened in the royal family
