Not so sure, I thought so at first when Mangkorn was telling Yai about the dads' agreement, but because they didn't represent her as someone of importance neither in the book nor in the series, because her role in both of them was the same, she only served as a person to make Yai jealous.
But after they showed Tao like that I thought it might be another person who would represent the phoenix as it is supposed to be a major character.

But since we know nothing about the source material for the second season I think we have to wait and see 😂

LOL when I first saw Donghae I thought "oh isn't he a little younger than Hayouni why is she always with younger men!?" Then it took me a minute to remember his age is actually the same as hers lol my goodness, my boys are getting old xD Teukki is almost 40 now 😂.

Anyway the plot is like a remake with a few hanges of "love for suckers" drama, I wish this one would be better since I didn't like the latter very much ~~

In the whole book there is no one involved with Mangkorn nor Yai, no love triangle or anything, even Nine was a side character with a partner already, Mangkorn only loved Yai and vise versa, I think Tao is an addition to hype up fans for the next season, remember the first scene at the beginning when Yai was talking about the Dragon Tiger Turtle phoenix the four sacred animals of Chinese mythology and their interaction, I dare say there will be another addition which would represent a phoenix in S2.

Well, it's completely different from the series, and despite being a very disturbing story and the lacking of consent between the leads it is more consistent than the series.
I hope the next season would have more strong story than this one.

I love antique bakery!! I just love it, it's one of my favourite manga ever!!!! And that was so good lol oh Pooh, he is extremely adorable!! I couldn't stop smiling the whole series because of him 😂 the series was not extremely funny but it has some hilarious moments with second hand embarrassment, I couldn't see Singto as the Don Juan that everyone falls for but still he was good enough xD
It was so entertaining, Pooh and Piglet are my favourite, also I like that they included the crime part here in a light way, the acting and the characters are so lovable.
Highly recommended.

Oh well, it's definitely not good in term of having a lot - and I mean A LOT- of sex, if you already seen the series it's completely watered down. the beginning till the blackmail part is the same as in the series then Mangkorn starts to literally stalk Yai at college everyday while being a little secretive because of being engaged, making Yai confused but still they keep having sex lol Nine character is actually side character in the book and he isn't in love with Yai or anything, he is just a senior. The lesbian part is the same too as in the series but the two girls end up fleeing together.
Mangkorn and Yai hardly label their relationship but after having a few too many sex they kinda get together.
The last few chapters has a weird incident where Yai would take a meds that he believes would get him pregnant to find out later that he is not lol . There is no breakup or flying to New York part it's only in the series and that about it.

It was good enough, but still it has a lot of flaws, I don't like how submissive the ML is, I mean what type of love that makes you accept literally everything without refusal or at least showing disagreement, he is Park Jae Hogu not Park Jae Hoon,
Also I hated JiYun, she is the worst character I've ever seen, so she falls for a guy who bluntly tells her that he'll never love her back, and she keeps pushing herself on him, and then when she gets her heart broken she blames him!? Like seriously!? If making someone falling in love with you was easily done like that by forcing yourself on that person I bet all of us would be with our first love!

Omg that was a terrible!! It was sooo sloooooow and really boring, and there is no story, it's like writing one line and stretching this line to make a whole series out of it!! It was super boring, even with 3X speed I was skipping parts, that's how slow and boring it is!!
Highly unrecommended, just skip it please!! It's horrendous !!
