It seems like the breakup between the actor and MJ might not be as straight forward as it appears. Given that MJ's career is on the verge of blossoming, this separation could be a strategic decision rather than purely emotional. They may have colluded to present an ambiance of a breakup, following the mother’s wishes, while secretly remaining connected.

In episode 108 preview, the actor tells his mother that he will not date or marry and intends to live as a single person with her for the rest of his life. If this is part of a larger plan, it allows MJ time to focus on her rising career while keeping the family dynamics under control. The real question is—how long will they maintain this illusion, and will emotions eventually expose the truth?

With practiced nonchalance, she peeked into the envelope, her expression unreadable. Then, just as swiftly, she set it down, her decision unwavering. In clear, uncompromising words, she declared that she would not be taking the money. A quiet moment passed, charged with unspoken meaning. This was classic MJ—bold, unshaken, a woman who would not be bought. She is truly becoming an unforgettable force—grace and defiance wrapped in one.

SA and NJ arrived at the posh hotel, expecting nothing out of the ordinary. But as the grand doors parted, reality shifted. SJ and SW stood hand in hand, the embodiment of defiance and certainty. SJ held her birthday present, nestled in a sleek, brand-name bag—a silent declaration of status, power, and mystery. SA and NJ could do nothing but stare, their minds racing with the implications. They met. They saw. They conquered—every assumption, every doubt, every imagination that dared question their presence.

I have seen in a lot of kdramas, one's signature and name stamp is enough to warranty legality.

The actor's mother is guilt-tripping him, forcing him to reconsider everything she endured while taking care of him. Both Chua Ah and her mother should be ashamed of themselves—Chua Ah acted as the catalyst that shattered the family and showed no remorse for her actions. Now that the tables have turned, she has the audacity to blame the actor for the consequences of her deeds, unfairly shifting the blame to the Actor.

The actor deserves a break from his mother's interference and the toxicity of their relationship. Taking this time away would allow him to focus on his own well-being and priorities. He should continue standing firm for what truly matters in his life.

If the mother lets go of her attempts to disrupt their bond, the relationship between the actor and Miju could flourish and potentially progress to marriage. It sounds like their connection is strong and genuine, and they deserve the chance to build a future together without interference.

At some point, the mother will need to accept that her son is forging his own path in life. Cutting the proverbial umbilical cord will allow him the independence to fully embrace his relationship and prioritize his happiness. This shift could also pave the way for healthier dynamics within the family.

It he decided to speak negatively about SA, his former wife, it will speak volumes about his choices and character. It is often said that how someone speaks about their past relationships can reveal a lot about their character, values, and how they view their own decisions. It might hint at a willingness to reflect with grace or a tendency to deflect responsibility. What matters most, perhaps, is the way people grow and communicate moving forward. Would you agree?

That's a valid concern. My take is that the Board does not know about the marriage and that the meeting did not meet the quorum. If the Board was unaware of the marriage and the meeting failed to meet quorum requirements, any decisions made could indeed be challenged as invalid.

Quorum is essential to ensure that decisions represent the collective will of the Board and comply with governance standards. Revisiting the bylaws and ensuring transparency in relationships and attendance will be ideal. But we are dealing with a family business whose members have run amok. - it is all in the name of self interest overshadowing collective goals.

Actually it is normal practice, the board can comprise shareholders, CEO and managers. NJ having assumed a managerial position can be in attendance.

Meanwhile, her family dynamics are steeped in conflict and ambition. SA llke her husband, and her mother are more focused on self-preservation than actively contributing to the company’s progress. Their ambitions have taken a sinister turn, with the CEO’s medication deliberately swapped, a dangerous act potentially leading to severe health consequences—particularly if substituted for high blood pressure medication. This act appears to be part of a plot aimed at ensuring his downfall, thereby enabling the three conspirators to seize control of the company.

SA and her husband, in particular, seem eager to take over leadership, viewing the CEO's hospitalization as an opportunity to advance their own position. Adding to the turmoil, SA has been grappling with financial pressures caused by her mother’s debt, forcing her to resort to loan sharks to manage the psychological strain. The family’s actions underscore a chaotic mix of betrayal, ambition, and desperation that jeopardizes both their integrity and the company’s long-term stability.

I thought they had extended it to 127 episodes, one of the contributors here had a link which stated that the show had been extended by seven episodes.

I thought of coming up with SJ’s Growth Arc
1. Promising Beginnings
- In high school, SJ was a top student, ambitious and full of potential.
- She had dreams of attending a prestigious university to further her studies in interior design.
2. Betrayal & Redirection
- Her path was derailed when SA, driven by jealousy or rivalry, sabotaged her entrance exams by giving her a drink that made her sick.
- Unable to attend her preferred university, she enrolled in another institution and still earned her interior design degree.
3. Love, Family & Sacrifice
- SJ met NJ, fell in love, and eventually got married. Together, they had a child, shifting her priorities.
- NJ, ambitious and seeking further education, pursued his studies, and SJ backed him fully.
- Despite her qualifications, she struggled to break into the industry due to the lack of connections, forcing her into the “school of hard knocks,” doing odd jobs to support her family. In the school of hard knocks is survival of the fittest.
4. Navigating the Harsh Reality
-SJ faced societal challenges—needing both networking and nepotism to secure a foothold in her career. Upper echelons of society equate nepotism as networking.
- Some perceived her and her family as “uncouth,” overlooking the fact that people are shaped by their environment.

The question is, will she ever get rid of her streetwise tendencies? That remains to be seen. We are products of our environment. SJ’s journey is a testament to that—she adapted to her circumstances, became streetwise out of necessity, and carried those instincts even as she stepped into a new phase of her life.
Even though she has transformed significantly, traces of her past remain, influencing her actions in subtle ways. Growth doesn’t erase where we’ve been—it builds on it. The key is learning how to harness those lessons without letting them hold her back.
