We might actually end up confusing ourselves in the process😅

I love what this drama is doing to me...I liked the premise and some creative aspects of the novel and its value as an inspirational piece of work and source material, but it made me soooo angry most of the time and not just for the heavy angst( which I actually like) , so as I was reading it, there were many things I wanted to change , or wished to be changed. Interestingly enough, the drama has granted many of my wishes till now with the changes.... and I also really dig the fast pace, because to be honest the right developement of the leads characters and relationship in 40 episodes is the thing I care the most about. As long as I'm able to follow the story and key points, I really don't care skipping things in between. Even at this pace, there are still sooooo many important things this has to cover and now we are past the 1/4 of episodes. Considering that, this pacing makes perfect sense to me.

Aaaah, it's actually more on the angsty side. ( YBC, I didn't like her from the beginning )
Very heartbreaking but necessary for our leads emotional developement.

Then his demonic energy will contribute greatly to TTJ's decline and furthur complicating SuSu's mission. This is one of the keys to her quest.

There are two purposes, one is that the resolution of this 'dream' or life experience which has been haunting the serpent for an eternity, affects which side he'll be on. The second purpose actually serves the developement of our lead couple, as they get to experience the love, passion, hate, and heartbreak Ming ye and Sang jiu went through which helps them recognize and sort out their own thoughts and emotions. Especially TTJ, who has a hard time getting in touch with his feelings.

Do we have a preview for ep 13?
( Ming yeand Sang jiu are gonna break my heart, and yet.... I can't wait for all the angst)

U know he actually said that😅( just like in the novel), it was edited in the dubbing process, but if you look closely you can catch him saying the name.

At the end of episode 9, when SuSu was having flashbacks with TTJ, one of the scenes she remembered was missing from the drama. I suppose it was from the second episode after she cared for him at night and he was leaning on her bed, but I'm not sure. It seemed to be a beautiful scene🥺 And now I can't help thinking of what else is not there.... I really hope they give us a director's cut in the end or an special with the collection of deleted scenes..

You see SuSu has traveled back in time to prevent all those from happening. This person she is facing now , has not yet commited those crimes, and if SuSu somehow succeeds in her mission, then he won't end up being THAT and doing THOSE.
And no as far as I know there is only one TTJ.

I think he was intrigued by her, she keeps giving all these mixed signals.. and the mere fact that a woman like that ( in your words) occasionally shows those little sparks of care and emotion towards a person like him, is the draw. He has probably just seen all the other kinds. And in a way they're actually similar. Just like how the occasional cracks in his evil bones stand out, those same cracks in her self-righteous blood shines out to him.

So how are we supposed to survive the days without new episodes... I'm already fretting over that

It really is... I mean how hard is it to enjoy the good in everything?!( and aside from anything drama related like the make up and costumes, his appearance is none of anybodys business really) and he's nailing this role, not just being mediocre or plain good. His acting here is well worthy of all kinds of praise and appreciation.🤦‍♀️

TTJ had not been intimate with the past YXW ( although she thought they were) in their marriage. They just got married because she was planning sth that backfired and got herself stuck in a marriage with TTJ.
