why do they insist on neon green, orange, and yellow as a color palette but im living for all the cat scenes 😂 i dont know how to categorize this drama so far lol but it is entertaining. the plot keeps moving so far at ep 6 at a nice pace. it feels kinda camp? idk but it's cute!

i'm on ep 6 and when txw plays both the MF and the other demon using her image HER ACTING IS SO GOOD bc they seem so distinct. her facial expressions for the villianess role are so good. IM SO EXCITED FOR WHERE THE MASK ENDS based on this. i hope WTME gives me vampire diaries vibes with elena/katherine YAYAYAYA

i also picked this up after watching POJ!!

just started ep 3 and i like the directing so far, they dont belabor/over explain things as much as some other costume dramas ive scene and just let some scenes breathe and allow the audience to infer some things. the tone is nice and the acting sits in a perfect range for it so far. i was obsessed with poj and so im glad i found a good one to move onto! i told myself i wasnt going to watch another show as ita airing bc im scared of spoilers AND I HATE WAITING AND NEED TO BINGE but im on board rn and cant get off ;-;

the writing fell apart for me in the second half but like the first 10/15 eps of the story and acting were IMMACULATE. i hear watermelons lol about a second collab between zlh and txw and I NEED IT SO MUCH AAAAAH

this is my first drama with txw and so far i really love her acting--if this drama sticks the landing she might be my new fav cdrama girly 🤩 i've seen some of zlh before but his ability to emote with his eyes in this drama is crazy good. also his long hair and ribbons make him so pretty 😂

i saw a rumor on twt directors are eyeing them for a second project--take w a million grains of salt :o

Currently watching and the show is very charming! The story telling, pace, and ensemble cast are satisfying. ML and FL are cute. Was worried in the beginning of the first ep but by the second half I was onboard. Just finished ep 16 online.
Where are ppl watching this because it seems some have already finished but I can't find ep 17, only the "essence version" which is cut?
I'm at the palace drama now and am liking it a little less but hoping this is a minor stop because otherwise I love it so far!

for this show, I cried the most for pei sijing and her brother! I loved how stoic her character was, someone with strong morals but not stubborn to a fault so she learned about the morally grey when switching from the camp and from the situation of her brother and friends. she was definitely written as a side character tho to the other3 leads. I loved her outfits so much and the seen with the red fog was epic. I can’t fully comment because I did skip around this drama but from what I saw, she was great!

I’m kinda into PSJ and ZYZ though it 1000% will never happen. it would be really cool tho cause the predictability of the lead dynamic is a lil boring for me
