A love triangle that was actually good

I have to say Light on Me is still one of my favorite BLs even though I’ve seen so many I still think this is one of my favorites. I really loved the character Taekyung because he kinda reminds me of myself of being an introvert and very quiet and I just loved his throughout the series. I feel that this was also one of those enemies to lovers concept, but it is one of my favorite ones since of how they became enemies. There may be spoilers so be aware.
I really loved the plot of Light on Me which was Taekyung is the total definition of an introvert and has no friends until the student council adult who was Haetbit and he invited Taekyung to come meet and join the members of student council and he already met Shinwoo by sticking a plastic thingy in his butt which was absolutely hilarious, but also embarrassing at the same time and then Taekyung met Da On who is the president and Namgoong who is basically just their. Overtime Taekyung develops feelings for Da On and it grows stronger each time he sees him, but Da On made it seem like he could really careless about his feelings and instead made Sohee carry her feelings for him and he payed more attention to her. While Shinwoo has feelings for Taekyung and while Taekyung felt that Shinwoo hated him, it was how Shinwoo shows his feelings because he’s like a black cat that shows no emotions. I really loved the scene where Taekyung accidentally opens the door so hard that his head starts bleeding and once everyone saw it Da On was going to help him until Shinwoo grabbed him a cleaned his wound. My other favorite scene was when Taekyung was nominated to be the person who the class votes to speak on stage and promote that one class, and when Taekyung froze and didn’t know what to say until he saw Shinwoo wearing a flower in his hair that’s when he started to gain confidence to talk on stage just by seeing Shinwoo even though Da On thought it was because of him. Also can we mention how good Taekyung looks in that beret because I want to look as good in it as him. Also Namgoong and Sohee are actually a good couple that if I saw them in a drama I think I would watch them. Overall I really loved Light on Me and it’s a show you cannot miss that I would literally watch over and over again because it’s that good.

I’m so sad this is over

I’m just gonna say this before you watch the show don’t really base it on reviews because a lot of people have mixed feelings for the season two of Minato’s laundromat, but I feel if you watch it you should watch it based on if you really enjoy the couple and the first season. I feel like crying because I just finished it and I am not ready to let go of Minato and Shin because I genuinely enjoyed them as a couple and they were kinda my enjoyment. But I will say the last three episodes were not needed because it just set back the show, but I still enjoyed it overall. I will have spoilers so be aware.
The plot for this season was immediately following how it ended last season which was Minato and Shin officially becoming a couple and it basically just showed their journey. Which was Shin getting into a science major in college and was embarrassed when Minato comes to pick him up because everyone would be starting at Minato and the police would get involved because they never seen him before, but what people would say when they saw Minato was that he’s so cute and wondered if he were dating someone and that was the reason why Shin didn’t want him to come because people would see how adorable and cute Minato is. It also still continued Minato’s restrictions with Shin and his boundaries and Shin accepted them. It also showed that they got to live together and we saw what they would look like if they lived together and I what it would be like which was them in separate rooms unless Shin wanted/forced his way into Minato’s room. We also saw Minato putting a lot of effort into their relationship because he got all dressed up for their date which he looked so adorable. Shin also won a vacation to go to the public baths with three other people so he took Minato, Asuka, and Shuu. And I have to say it was one of my favorite scenes because drunk Minato and Shuu was all I needed to see because the way that Minato kept screaming about him changing Asuka’s diaper when he was a baby and Shin got so mad at Asuka and then when they thought Shuu was fine he ended up passing out. Also Shin’s tiny birthday party was so adorable and the way they were acting was like it was too real for me and I was watching like one of their vlogs. I really hated how they had to make Shin lose his memory’s at the end of the show because it really made me upset because they made Shin remember everyone, but Minato and that made Minato feel upset and sad that he didn’t know what to do and he ended up just giving up until Sakurako and Asuka yelled at him to do something and when Minato tried so hard Shin still didn’t remember a whole lot, until the last 10 minutes of the show he remembered from their crossword puzzle that “love makes me blind” and the letter that Minato was gonna give to Shin on his birthday and I was literally bawling when I saw that because it was so beautiful that scene was. Also the ending was nice because they made the show feel complete. Overall, I really recommend this show because everything about it was amazing.

Could I be a Mob?

I thought this series would be weird because the trailer one Viki was something and I would’ve never pictured a show would be about the whole world is like a bl drama were all the boys like other boys and if it was an actual world please sign me up cause I would love to see that type of universe. Also Mob is so hilarious because of how hard he’s trying to not date or have feelings for another guy because he doesn’t want to be in a BL. Also Ayato is so adorable and I literally love him so much like he’s my favorite character. And can we mention this bop outro ‘Bubble Love’ by Da-Ice is such a good song that whenever I listen to it I always remember this show. Also that intro has to be one of my favorite ones because the actors singing it and the costumes were so amazing and funny. I will warn there may be spoilers ahead so be aware.
I got hooked in right after the first episode, it I was quite funny how Mob was trying to not get pulled into the BL world, but could not escape it at all to the point that he could even write his own BL novel because when he was predicting who confessed to Ayato he knew that it was Toujou since he has roses and a spotlight on him. Also can we mention Ayato and Toujou’s relationship cause they are the cutest things on earth like they remind me of two bears. Also Mr. Mayama is kinda scary because he basically was writing about what he sees in the BL world and it actually comes true. Also it was funny about how hard Mob was trying to escape being in a BL, but Kikuchi was making Mob come into the world because he likes him. Overall this show is very hilarious and very short and I definitely recommend this show because you just can’t miss it.

Stop I’m so obsessed with this show

I’m so obsessed with this series and them because they’re actually so cute and they’re one of the reasons why I’m so obsessed with JBLs. I love Shintaro so much he’s so cute and adorable and the way he simps for Minato is so adorable it’s insane. Also
Asuka is so adorable and funny also and him and Shin are like an iconic duo. Also that intro is one of the best intros I’ve seen because the song is a bop first of all and second of all each intro has a special part which showcases a character and their always so cute in it. I will warn you there may be spoilers ahead so be aware.
I am obsessed with this plot and it’s so good. Shintaro is a high school boy who goes to a laundromat one day and the owner is named Minato and Shin ends up falling in love with Minato and says that he’s gonna peruse him until he accepts his love. Which was him going to the shop everyday to bother Minato. In the meantime while Shin is at school he keeps on getting bothered by his classmates Asuka and Shin can’t make him stop bothering him until he realizes that Shins in love and asks who it is and when he found out it was Minato he decided to help him get Minato. Since Asuka knows Minato since he was a child because Asuka grandpa owns a fish shop which is near Minato’s laundromat he always sees his grandpa and that’s how he knew him since he was younger. When Minato sees Asuka he’s comfortable with him and goes for hugs and all that stuff, but when Shin wants one it’s not acceptable. Overtime Shin visits Minato constantly and always hits on him until Minato tells him he’s not interested in dating him because he’s a high schooler and Minato’s 30 and it wouldn’t look good to the public and since Minato was in that position when he was younger because he fell in love with his high school teacher. In the end Shin gets a substitute teacher and his name is Sakuma and it’s later revealed that he was Minato’s old crush and Shin starts to hate him so much that he would ignore and treat him badly, but would want all the details about Minato in high school. Overtime Sakuma suddenly wants to be in Minato’s life again and while Minato was starting to get comfortable with Shin, Sakuma had to come and muck it all up by making Minato hang out with him all the time and when Minato promised to take shin to get watermelon shakes he takes Sakuma instead like erggg, I don’t like him he made me so mad for no reason. Once Sakuma backed off Minato was fine with Shin and I’m so happy they started dating because I was getting tired of Sakuma’s screen time. Also Asuka also has a crush on a guy and guess what he’s Sakuma’s younger brother named Shuu and he’s absolutely way better than Sakuma and is actually cute in my opinion he seems like a sleepy dog, but always rants about the world and history. Even though Asuka knew him for a while, Shins sister Sakurako also had feelings for Shuu so it was a battle between them until she got rejected cause Shuu said he has someone already and it was Asuka and good for him he made his man know that he’s taken and stuff also the fact that they already went on vacations already shows that they are together, but don’t actually think they are. Anyways I won’t spoil too much, but it shows how much I love this show and how much I dislike Sakuma. I really recommend this drama and I suggest you skip any scene that Sakuma is in!

I don’t think I’ll give this a second chance

This drama was cute and nice, but it wasn’t one of my favorite and I’m not gonna lie if I had to rank the couples it would be hard. Jeno and Chris’s storyline was so cute, even when Chris literally came in a bear costume in the university just to confess to Jeno. It literally showed how much Jeno loved Chris that he would go in a bear costume and go to the university and I know many people would be very scared to do it. I genuinely felt bad for Jeno’s character because his ex really made him have to second guess in love and have trust issues. I also love Near and M’s couple I always waited for them to appear in the episodes, because they were so cute and one of my favs, even when M confessed at the prom it was just so cute! Also I’m so dumb because I literally didn’t know that Jeno and near were brothers and I even knew they looked alike, but didn’t think they were brothers. For Tong Fah and Paper’s couple in my opinion it wasn’t the best because once Tong Fah ended up hospitalized Paper finally found his feelings for him. But I love Paper in real life, but this character was not for him. Anyways I have mixed feeling about it, but it depends if you want to watch it so I would recommend this drama.

It’s a sweet drama

This was a really cute not gonna lie! I felt this show, kinda represented what it’s like to be a boy who’s part of the LGBTQ community and it was a really nice way of how they presented it. I haven’t watched the next HIS, but I kinda don’t want to watch it because I feel from the trailer that they kinda messed the nice and calm storyline to a chaotic and most likely depressing storyline. I know there’s some BLs that involve surfing, but it’s something about when their about surfing the dramas always end up being so good and amazing. Just a warning that there may be spoilers ahead. Nagisa and Shuns relationship was so cute. In the first episode you could tell that once that photo was shot Nagisa had fallen in love with Shun. It was sad that Nagisa had said that he could never come out to his family because he can only grow up in a community where you can only be straight and nothing else. I liked Chika’s and Ako’s friendship, but I was kinda not too happy when Chika would try to stalk and follow Nagisa because she liked him, but I mean that’s kinda unsettling to watch. I was sad that we only got a hug as an ending, but I’ll take anything I can get! I really recommend this drama and I really hope for a season 2 that actually includes the real actors and has a following to the ending of His I didn’t think I would fall in love.

Its short and fluffy

I really liked this one. I thought it was a calm and soft series that could make you enjoy it. Also the episodes were so short that if you want to watch a light and soft show that’s also super duper short I definitely recommend Oh! boarding house because I personally enjoyed it. But also saying the name kinda gives the plot to you which is yes the setting is mostly in a household where we see the main leads fall in love and meet. There will be spoilers ahead so I’m warning you.
I really felt bad for Bong Deok because you could tell right away he had feelings for Seol Won, even in school. I shipped Hee Soo and Ye Min so hard because Hee Soo made Ye Min have some type of butterfly’s because he looked like his ex. I liked Cheol Soo and Seol Wons relationship it was too cute because when they were meeting with their friends they kept bumping into each other which and went home together was too adorable. Their was so much mentioning of behind cut which I absolutely love it when KBLs always have some type of poster or mention of another BL. I really recommend this drama! I hope you enjoy it too.

I’m definitely not craving this

To be honest I don’t really remember what happened in this show because it was somewhat forgettable all I remember is that Kane is supposed to be this huge popstar and then I guess it was he was assigned to work at the bakery that Yi Fan works at, but overtime they went from a not really enemies, but also enemies at the same time to lovers. But please can someone tell me that Yi Fan kinda looks like Na Kamden from Boys Planet/Ampers&One? Causes that’s all I really remember from this series. I’m not gonna lie, but this show I have mixed feelings for it was sometimes good, but sometimes bad. I felt that Soda and Noah’s couple was more of a main than Kane and Yi Fan’s. They had a more interesting story and more screen time of their couple way more also. I have to say that I wasn’t a fan of Kane having to reveal about if his relationship with Yi Fan is true or not true at Soda and Noah’s wedding because it’s not about them, but it’s about the two people getting married. Overall this series was short, but made me have mixed feelings the whole time.

Sad but beautiful

I really enjoyed this show so much because it has both happy and emotional emotions. Also I’ve never read the manga version of One Room Angel, but by how the plot went I know it’s a really good manga and I also felt like it was also giving manga vibes. I always say that it’s nice seeing new plots for example a man and an angel whose lives are somehow intertwined. Some people may not like the idea of an angel and a man being together, but this show proved that they need to be together. For example the way the story went the angel was there to help Koki not feel sad anymore and it was his job to keep him happy, and he did, the angel made Koki laugh and smile which he hasn’t done in a while and also made him feel seen when Koki lives his life feeling like he’s never seen and is invisible. Also I almost cried when the angel ran away and felt what it was like to be invisible again and it was so sad because all he wanted was to be seen again. Also hearing how the angel died was so depressing because he never remembered how it went until he figured out why they were supposed to meet again because their incidents both happened on the same day. Also I really liked that scene where Koki was gonna help the angel fly but he couldn’t, but Koki carried him though and it showed how tiny he is and he was so adorable. At the ending it showed that both of them needed each other when the angel ascended to heaven after he was finally happy while being with Koki which made me so sad because then Koki would be back to being lonely and sad, but that wasn’t the case, because Koki finally knew how to live life after being with the angel. I enjoyed every second of this drama and I really recommend this one.

I would definitely not watch again

Not gonna lie I wasn’t a big fan of this drama. It was a cute and sweet one, but I felt like it was messy instead of clean because each episode would be the same it would be Nhai getting mad at Ai for something and Ai would have to make Nhai like him again or not be mad at him anymore. I also didn’t really like the ending because by the 11th episode the show was basically completed in my opinion and the last episode was just Ai buying Nhai new shoes and them saying why they love each other on top of the roof. The only thing that I actually liked about this show was Tonhon and Chonlatee because at least in this show they weren’t toxic and they didnt do them dirty. Also I really love the guy who plays Chonlatee which is Save because he’s absolutely adorable and I also loved him in Why you Why me. Also can someone tell me when Fluke was in this show because they made it seem like he was in the show the whole time, but I never saw him. Also AI’s parents are so cute that I’m so glad they’re a couple in real life because they compliment each other so much. I didn’t really enjoy it too much, so I wouldn’t really recommend this, but if you want to then you should watch this.

Not the best version of a love triangle

I have never watched a series from Hong Kong before and I wanted to give it a try and it wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best, but I did get some laughter from it. There isn’t too much to talk about there were a total of 4 episodes with a duration of 7 minutes long which doesn’t give you a whole plot, doesn’t give you a backstory, and doesn’t explain enough for you. There may be spoilers, but at the same time there could be none since it was too short.
Okay so I’m guessing that it’s supposed to be a love triangle with Hin, A’Yao/Yiu, and Hugo. I personally like Hin with Hugo because Hugo seems like a genuine guy that would give Hin a whole lot of respect and would encourage his music career, but I’m guessing they’ve known each other since childhood or high school I can’t tell. So they at least have a history together and it’s a good history and not a bad one. Then the other ship wins with A’Yao and Hin, I personally am not a huge fan of A’Yao since he isn’t giving a good vibe for me and I assume that him and Hin are ex boyfriends and broke up 5 or 6 years ago and haven’t talked since the day they hung out at the beach, but on that same day they had a steamy scene, but it was in takes of Hugo taking a test. I also didn’t like the ending of the season with A’Yao pushing Hin cause he’s drunk and then beat up Hugo for defending Hin. Like seriously Hin get with Hugo and not your ex who’s clearly also with another random guy named Teddy who popped in for one episode the left and somehow ended up in the ending credits. Also I don’t like the game that Hin is playing which is him liking A’Yao and wanting to be with him, but is giving Hugo hints that he could like him and even when him and Hugo almost kissed it was like can you make up your mind. Overall they tried with a four episode and 7 minute show, but it wasn’t the best so I recommend if you want a short series.

This love definitely didn’t talk about long beans

I was super excited when this series was announced because I really loved Sailub and Pon in Pitbabe and I was robbed of Benz and Garfield. I felt this series had its ups and downs, but overall the series was really good and I don’t regret watching it however that last episode didn’t need to be and hour and thirty minutes long. Just a warning that spoilers are ahead.

The plot was something because I’ve never seen a drama focusing on a basil themed restaurant and a basil lowering YouTuber that now wants to be a chef in order to get money. Plawan was a YouTuber who’s channel focused on his lover for anything basil, but he went to Oab’s restaurant and he wouldn’t let him film so when Oab was looking to hire a new owner for his restaurant since he lost his passion Plawan tried out for it. Also at the same time Plawan went with his bff JJ to gain money for competing to win the restaurant with Metas because they won’t let him take it over since he won’t keep the restaurant, but would turn it into a mall. Then there was a whole entire survival show about who’s gonna take over Oab’s restaurant based on skills and at first you felt that’s Plawan would definitely not make it too the end because he really isn’t the best compared to others, but the final four were Plawan, Auto, Pansip, and Kluea. I felt bad for Auto since he wanted to win so his family can get money, but it was wrong stealing recipes. Then sadly my favorite got voted out which was Pansip, but luckily he was working at Nubnuengs restaurant because he actually ate there. At the same time Plawan was starting to date Oab and also dealing with the Metas problem until Kluea also had feelings for Plawan and Oab’s ex came back from studying aboard since her dad became sick and now she kinda wants to date Oab and wants everything to go back the way it was before. It was kinda getting messy and I felt the downfall of my interest came at this point of the show and too the end. But I will say that it went uphill with JJ and Metas!!!! I was so happy I didn’t get robbed of them again because they carried this show. So basically JJ is a psychical therapist who now has to take care of his enemy Metas because of Plawan making a deal with Metas and JJ doesn’t fully trust him. Then JJ got assigned to assist Metas with his bad knee and now has to make his knee get better and I have to say I was squealing so much because of how cute they were and especially that bathroom scene and those movie theatre scenes. I also have to say that JJ has full control of Metas because he will do anything he says if he gets to stay with him. Also that’s last scene where JJ has that giant diamond ring and his showing it off cause their engaged like I was screaming so much!! Also Oab where’s Plawans ring? Cause I don’t see it yet. Okay but overall even thought this show had its ups and downs it was overall a pretty good show and I do recommend it.

She’s definitely not a robot

This drama was so good and enjoyable. I’m also not the type that likes a long length drama and so many episodes, but each episode was totally worth it. I also never knew that having your ex being a scientist that makes robots is such a toxic thing, whelp now I know what guys I should skip. Just a warning there may be spoilers.
It was nice to see a different type of storyline than the same one over and over again which is a guy being allergic to basically everything even humans except for a “robot girlfriend”. I never expected to see a robot looking exactly the same as a girl and now Ji Ah has to pretend to be a robot because her ex will then become in debt. Who would’ve known that if you dressed as a robot you will then meet your future lover. It was funny seeing how comfortable Min Kyu was because he thought it was just a robot and not a human girl. It was also nice seeing him realize that he has an exception to finally have a lover(Ji Ah’s human self) and is not allergic to basically everything. It’s also sad that he’s allergic to everything with nickel which made Min Kyu not have a good childhood and had to be alone. It was nice how Ji Ah had to act like a robot because the old robot had broke because of the water, but it was creepy how Ji Ah’s ex had made her into a robot so he could always see her. It’s nice to see Min Kyu recover from his allergies and then Ji Ah and Min Kyu becoming lovers. Although I didn’t like the ending of Min Kyu coming back from the military and then it’s over because I wanted to see there future life and it was sad because it ended so quickly.
Anyways I enjoyed this drama and really recommend this drama.

You can be cool even if your not the coolest person

I’ve never seen a drama where the trope was about who’s the coolest man in the world, and I have to say I actually kinda liked it. I always saw this on Viki and I never watched it, but I decided why not and it actually was pretty good and I don’t regret watching it except for that weird ending. I originally only watched it because Keito was gonna be a guest star on it (sadly for only 1 ep) and I wasn’t thinking I was gonna continue it, but I actually became obsessed. Just a warning spoilers ahead. So Ryoma accidentally got accepted into a high school that’s only meant for cool boys and he was turned down by all the other schools so he basically went to the school, but what did he see? It was a whole bunch of cool boys while he’s the opposite of a cool boy because he isn’t the most attractive, he’s not strong, he doesn’t have a hobby, his hair is a bowl cut, and he even stepped in poop and if you are a cool boy you never step in poop. While his time at high school he made relationships with other cool boys for example Wakabayashi-kun he’s a very zesty cool boy and was Ryoma’s first friend, Jingu he only knows kendo and wants to be in the tourney to help promote Kendo, Shu who is a poor cool boy that was judged for eating grass and bread because he can’t afford stuff and his apartment was run down, and lastly Ichinose who doesn’t know what love is and even helped him find his lover and save her from trying to k!ll herself. Also Yanagi was Ryoma’s rival to win Sakurai’s love since Yanagi fell for her ever since they were children and they were childhood friends. Yanagi also promised Sakurai that he will take her to the coboy tourney. Also I have to mention my favorite Todo (keito) even though he was only in ep 4 he slayed it so much and even helped make Ryoma feel more confident about himself and even got him to rizz Sakurai up, he also helped Jingu get seen by girls because people were tired of him doing Kendo, but Todo helped jazz it up and girls then noticed him again. I also love Ryoma’s parents because there so hilarious. Through all the hardships and gacha pon cards this show was absolutely amazing, but the disappointment was that we never saw who won the cool boy tournament even though the show was revoking around it.

I do feel if you watch this you need to have food with you

I really enjoyed this drama, it was so cute and nice it was like having a nice meal while watching this there wasn’t any annoying characters, but it was actually one that you could get through it was calm and nice. Although I did feel that t wasn’t like a drama, but more like it could’ve been like a cooking ad since in each episode there would be a new recipe being made. I swear to god I’m just like Ji Hoon because he’s literally the only single guy in the whole friend group, I’d pay for a season two just to see if the new part time worker would be his lover. I did love Han Ji Yu because he was so adorable especially whenever he became drunk and also when he literally fell down on the front porch of Gi Hun’s restaurant and I would always be bursting out laughing because he’d just be rolling around and tripping. Also I get that the smell of beer is disgusting and smelly, but like wouldn’t it be good for business since Gi Hun did make a whole lot of fried chicken. The main couple was so cute that when Ki hoon would freeze on stage it reminded me of light on me when Tae kyung also freezes on stage and it would be their lovers who could make them be normal again. Anyways I really recommend this drama I loved each second of it.
