There are moments of infinite length that serve no purpose, except to waste time and understanding of events. There's 1 episode left... are they going to make a season 2 where everything is rushed? I'm disappointed.

Odajima wasn't asleep! Odajima is a pawn among the yakuza. They don't have the same rank! The episode with the bird is supposed to show that he's not just a yakuza, he's a man with a heart. Like when Odajima's friend gets shot. He runs away, looking back, because he regrets not helping him. Or with the first scene where he defends the woman and gets into trouble. It's a series about the yakuza; you won't see only sweetness! I recommend reading the manga.☺️
