I am enjoying AJTL do far. I do love wuxia dramas, but that's not the only reason. I'm enjoying the silliness. Especially since most of the themes are on the more serious side.

The Blood of Youth is on my list as well. I started it a while back and I absolutely loved it, but with my amount of patience I needed all the episodes to have aired. Then I got lured away by other dramas 😝

Joy of Life 2 is definitely on my list. Dashing Youth also sounds interesting.

AJTL has a sad ending right? Is that why you stopped at episode 36?

I waited for season two to complete airing before starting this one, because I really didn't want to live through the break between the two seasons.

Might as well just watch the drama, because a LOT happened.

Dark, disturbing and very sad. I watched this on a whim with no prior knowledge of the plot at all, so I went in without any expectations. It was an interesting movie.

Did the summary change? It looks like she got it through some kind of trauma related to her brother and there's no mention of her getting it when she became an adult.

I'm currently reading the novel while listening to the OST. It feels like I'm rewatching the drama and is for me a perfect way to move on.

I think it definitely does affect the experience. It's like you get to see the drama through a different perspective.

World building was indeed the biggest issue for me. There's a lot there, but it feels like we're not told enough. Obviously, I don't need to know absolutely everything (it's impossible in a drama of 39 episodes), but I was left with some unanswered questions and some of them were (at least for me) important. I shared some of my questions here and luckily people shared their views and opinions and it did end up helping.
