Hi! Here's the last cue for Finale rewatch. Please drop your musings here. 😊💕EPISODE: 40Thanks to all who…
I tried to remain strong for the last episode, but I just lost it in the last 20 minutes. That tomb scene will haunt me forever. The way he changed his appearance, because he didn't want to stand before the tablets in his Devil God form. Him saying goodbye to the apparition of Li Su Su, because he thought that he won't be able to do it in real life. Li Su Su breaking down.
I'm just really thankful that Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi found their way to these characters and gave an unforgettable performance.
Something I didn't notice the first time, but Ming Ye was there (in his true form) with the other Gods when Su Su became a God. Too bad we didn't get to see what he really looked like.
Done with the rewatch! It went by so fast. I will admit that I skipped most of Bing Chang and Di Mian this time around, because I just couldn't look at them again.
This will be my yearly rewatch drama from now on (need to give my heart a decent amount of time to heal).
Wondering what Zhao You and Qu Xuan Zi were like when they were young and the adventures they had. One is mischievous and the other gentle. They are quite a pair.
It’s coz we understands the sacrifices they’ve made for each other?
Definitely. We also know more and notice more. After discussing the drama here and hearing other ideas, I pay attention and try to see these other things people noticed.
Li Susu contemplating the fact that Tantai Jin doesn't understand love yet, which is according to her the reason why the spikes aren't being produced as fast as she'd like, while she herself doesn't understand love either.
TTEOTM set the standards so high that all the xianxia dramas I've watched paled in comparison in terms of production,…
I have watched two Xianxia dramas after TTEOTM and while I'm generally forgiving where CGI and costuming is concerned as long as it fits into the world of the drama, it's mostly the chemistry that I've been missing. For some reason it all just feels less intense. For BFTB it worked, as it's a less intense and heartbreaking drama and the gentle and warm chemistry the main leads shared worked out great and I loved watching it. For BOR, it unfortunately did not. That drama could have used a main couple with a more intense and sizzling chemistry.
I'm just really thankful that Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi found their way to these characters and gave an unforgettable performance.
What is this cuteness?
This will be my yearly rewatch drama from now on (need to give my heart a decent amount of time to heal).
I might indeed need a break though...
