I agree that this drama is the best..I probably watched most if not all of korean historical shows and this is the only one where the King and Queen trusted each other. Almost all of the shows have the queen trying to go against or behind the King, plotting bad things. I was surprised and happy to see this change. All the sons were also interesting. What's more important is how the Queen handled each of their situations very well and how much she loved each of her children equally. I will watch this one again.
I totally agree that Doo Chil Seong was the best part of the story. He was the one that got me very interested. I could not figure out the female lead either. She was not a very strong character. I enjoyed Ms..Cutting part the most as far as strong presence on the story, although she got softer in the end. Overall, it was a nice light feel good show.
I watched this show because of Ji Sung and was amazed at how good it was. It was worth binge watching for two evenings. The storyline was great, and so were the actors. Even the bad guys were outstanding that I truly disliked their character. The song by Jo bok Rae was superb even though I do not understand the lyrics. It would have been nice if the lyrics were also close captioned.
Jung hyun is excellent. However, I hate Gil Chae. she is stupid. Causes all the troubles and problems that Jung hyun has to endure or solve. The music score is excellent with orchestra ( not sure if its violin)pauses and then piano coming in when Jung hyun was approaching her when she was being auctioned.
