1. I honestly thought people were saying it was sad because she became a concubine after expressing her disinterest…
totally agree with your 1st point . But the disappointing thing for me was that I read in the intro that ML wanted to be a benevolent king . So I was expecting that maybe he would change some laws and give the freedom to the Queen or concubine seeing which Deok Im would agree and finally express her love . But it wasn't to be . Instead the story took a totally different turn in the last episode which was upsetting for me personally. Ya I know it's based on a true story πŸ˜…

8.9?!? Why did it drop? *sigh*
As for me , till episode 16 I would have given it 9.5 but after watching the last episode I gave it 8.5 . IT'S MY PERSONAL OPINION that they could have ended it right there . but no , they made everyone die ..... the young queen , FL , her two friends , her child , her fetus and finally the ML . I totally get the point what the writers or say the novel wanted to convey but I am sucker for happy endings . I feel the ending could have been different to convey the same message. that's it ....
P.S. compare it to "Your lie in April".

8.9?!? Why did it drop? *sigh*
Actually it's pretty subjective . While a show is running it tends to have a higher rating as overtime the watchers get attached to it on a whole different level . But those who watch it in one go after it has ended airing , view it in a different perspective. hope you're getting my point

I love this drama but at the same time, I'm so frustrated with it lol. It's EP9 already but they're still hostile…
If everything gets sorted out that soon , what would be left in the story ... remember it's a 16 episode show

Then simply download vlc for android . Have both the raw episode and subtitles in the same folder ( which obviously would be as both are getting downloaded ) and have their names same except for the extension (.mp4 for video and .srt for subs).
OR you can add the downloaded subtitles while playing the video in the vlc . there's an option for it

Korean dramas always get the cinematography right, it’s the main reason I watch them, always so beautiful!
And using Aishwarya's pic as dp ...? just kidding

I've just watched a couple of the swoon videos of this drama and it looks right up my alley . I've only watched…
It sure is !! Probably the best drama of 2020 . No hate for IONTBO or crash Landing on you .....but I am not a fan of melodrama or healing psychology ones . Being a medico I like competent stories like this one . It's story is nothing ground breaking but the way the emotional aspects are linked to the storyline is just amazing . Also the Cinematography is hands down the best I have seen in any kdrama . The transitions are amazing . All in all you'll feel all the scenes bright and full of hope and colours !

after 2 episodes .... I can say it's pretty good . Cinematography is the best I have seen in kdramas . Loved the fact that how bright the scenes were . I don't know about others but being a medical student I personally like shows in which characters are competent and the drama doesn't solely rely on romance

rightly said . If not for Seo ye ji's acting and character , I am sure I wouldn't have watched this drama . Though they got their point right what they wanted to convey but the storyline was all over the place , too many loopholes

Hope there comes a moment where GT takes care of ST as a willing brotherly support rather than because of guilt…
yeah ... it's understandable and perfectly natural for a young kid (young Gang Tae) to have such feelings back then when you have an autistic brother and you yourself were discriminated and neglected by your own mother. But it's really pathetic to see him full of guilt and still thinks that it was his fault all along ; because of that he feels indebted to his mother and his sole purpose in life is to take care of his brother . And that scene was really intolerable when GT apologies to ST for what wasn't his fault. Seriously, the one person I hate to see is Sang tae because of his over possessiveness and how till now he always gets his way not bothering about other's feelings.... truly selfish
