Profiling GS, I am gonna quote a post below from LA_drama_fan bc I totally agree with it: "GS as "reluctant bride"…
I have to respectfully disagree. If she wasn't ready to move on, then she shouldn't have agreed to be in a relationship with DS. Regardless of how much he helped her and the family. I'm in agreement that he pressured her in a major way the one time, but if she still wasn't ready or didn't want to be with him, he wouldn't have forced her to go through with everything. He would have ended it and I don't believe he would have held his assistance over her head.
If we say that she feels in debt to him and that is why she's agreeing to marriage, then what does that make her? A limp dishrag that can't/ won't stand up for herself? But we've seen her stand up for herself already.
The show was written with them being the main couple...they weren't a second thought.
So where does that leave us? (Outside of being utterly frustrated...)๐
I don't know...unless it IS viewer disapproval of her not mourning long enough (as has been posted by others) and the writer is having to scramble to figure out how to do a course correction.
Just my opinion of course!
If this is the writer's issue, they should have figured out a way to make it work. Maybe they have and we aren't there yet.
Ep 48 Others have expressed my thoughts much better than I can!!
But here are a few things that came to mind while watching: - The only time there seems to a spark of passion from GS towards DS is when they fight/disagree. It's a shame that is where we're at now...
Beom Su needs to wake up...he should have said "I'm getting another sitter...right now." I guess this is just the lead up to some major confrontation, but he's not acting realistically imo.
What is the point of SeRi being away from Beom Su and Hani if she's going to come to the brewery home and secretly watch them?
Kang Su is such a sweetheart.
Just my personal opinion...Ok Bun ruined her wedding outfit with those horrible socks. ๐ Otherwise, she looked very pretty in all the dresses she tried on.
Yay! Dokgo Tak is dismissed! Wonder what he will do next or will he just give up and "live quietly" from now on.
I have the same thoughts as you. I was like "at long last... Dongseok and Kwangsook are kissing..." . What? The…
If it is that scandalous, then don't write it.
If you are going to commit to a storyline, then commit to it ๐ฏ.
I'm not downplaying the scandalousness (๐ is that a word), but no one should be happy with a lukewarm, watered down version of what could have been a pretty good "against all odds" type of romance.
I was frustrated with her also, but I feel better after last week' episode as well. Baby steps I guess...patiently…
Then why be in a relationship with him much less agree to marry him? It makes no sense, so we either have: 1. Bad acting (I'm not buying this) 2. Bad writing and the director is going along with it. 3. There is a reason for it that we haven't been shown yet.
I've rooted for them because I like the actor playing DS...but I can't ignore the fact that she acts uncomfortable with him.
She showed more passion with him before they got together.
If this is the way she is going to be, then they shouldn't be together and maybe should just stay friends. (I really hate saying this.)

I know the number of comments seemed high at one point in time.

I'm so frustrated right now, I can't stand it.
The potential this show had (and initially displayed) seems to have gone away. ๐
