IMO, it's because his greed to acclaimed he saved the crown prince when he's young. The one who saved the crown prince is SDI. IF SDI not saved the crown prince, he wont be greedy when he's young.

Am not fan of PEB when i saw her first time at Do You Like Brahms. But here, she is soooo good in acting. Hope we can see her next project soon.
