It's really cute and easy going. I've been really enjoying it! It's something simple and cute and even a bit silly. So if that sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'd say go for it!

I followed this comment section all throughout airing, with the intention of binging it as soon as it ended and I confirmed it had a happy ending. That was indeed my original intention, however the comments had me really worried and by the time that it ended, even though I knew it had a happy ending, I decided to push it to the side. I finally decided to start watching it yesterday and I binged it throughout the night. It was anxiety that made me finally start it, because I saw it sitting in my list and it felt like something I had to do to relieve the anxiety. It's funny, I feel like people rely on the opinions of others as a guide to tell them to watch a show or not way too often. I found out that all of my worries were for nothing. I loved every moment of Vice Versa. I thought that Jimmy and Sea had wonderful chemistry. I thought the universe travel was perfectly situated within the plot and not overtaking nor taking a back seat to the romance. I even loved the product placements for goodness sake! They were either funny or super cute and they didn't take away from the story. I wish I had started this sooner, right when it finished. Maybe next time I won't even look at the comments before I start a show. It just goes to show you that not everything is going to be everyone's cup of tea, but this time, it was mine.

In my experience it's not really awkward because most lesbians I know or have met (and myself included) are quite comfortable with stuff like that. It's not the same for everyone though, of course lol. It really depends on your local lesbian community.

The plot sounds intriguing.

I would personally recommend it. I had just rewatched UWMA after years to refresh my memory for Between Us and I feel everything is much clearer when you have prior knowledge. You'd definitely be a little confused with a few scenes concerning Dean and Pharm if you skipped it. But I mean, it's probably not 100% necessary if you don't mind not really grasping what's going on with Dean and Pharm lol.
