I have not watched this drama however my mom has and she’s is confused about the ending. I can’t tell if she watched them in the correct order or what but she claims she did. She tells me that it ended unfinished and there was a preview at the end for the “next episode” however there is no next episode. Can someone tell me if this is true or if she just did something wrong?

I'm enjoying this, however I don't like the way they're essentially saying that "Wu Mei is abusive because he cares". Not exactly healthy...but, I'm holding on for some character development as I get more into the episodes.
