Taesung's mom finding out happens later in the manhwa. It wasn't overly dramatic and she's pretty supportive after the initial response. If they decide to use that as the conflict in the show, they'll have to cut out a lot of the story in between and make it more dramatic than it was in the manhwa.

You are right about those scenes. I recently reread the manhwa as a refresher for when this drama would start airing and so I remember pretty well that they didn't have that camping scene, the flower shop, or their friends knowing about them living together so soon or being together until college. I'm sliiiightly disappointed with the changes but it's not that big of a deal to me.
