Since it seems that Lilith’s reason for cursing herself along with Ramil is penance, if Punn could come along and save Ramil, then she would no longer have to stay in her self inflicted punishment.

I've been really looking forward to this one lol.

In the start of episode 2, we find out that Lilith followed the orders of the rebel vampires to curse Ramil. She had to comply with their request, even though she knew it wasn't right. She then tells them about the curse, and how it could be broken. She also says that she, too, will be confined there with him. Maybe it was penance, as she explains in ep 6, she believed that because he never had anyone who loved him, and he had never loved someone, the curse would never be broken. She then saw Punn in her vision, so she decided to put herself on the line along with them. Then Ramil + Punn's blood + true love = curse broken, so she could leave the painting finally.

She was stuck there by the same curse that kept Ramil there. Once Punn broke the curse on Ramil by an act of true love, she was able to leave.

Yeesss, I miss the days of 60 ep costume dramas. And for some reason, episode length seems to keep getting shorter. Shadow Love and Legend of the Female General have so many episodes under 40 mins :(

I'm so thankful for cdramas having more episodes. Gives me so much more to enjoy lol.

Yeah lol, like Six Flying Dragons even had 50 episodes.

The issue here is that there aren't enough episodes to properly develop the plot. 12 episodes is hardly enough, we needed 30+ episodes.
