I'm about 99% sure this will have a happy ending lol. There is still that 1% of doubt I have but if San isn't cured for the happy ending, my theory is that he is reborn and it ends on an open ending. I don't see a really bad ending happening. If it does end badly I'll make sure to rally the crew to go slap some sense into the writers.
