The first half was okay and funny but then it becomes hard to watch. In short words it portrays that in relationships only men make mistakes and are the reason of all the misunderstanding, it had three couples and all of them had this same situation. For third couple the girl was the one perusing but suddenly all of a sudden she became rude and disrespectful when the man because the pursuing one.
It was already short compared to other cdramas but it could have many more short. Too many dragging scenes and too many flashbacks the story bad nothing much to offer but still the story before timeskip was feel good.
It was one of the best historical cdramas I've seen. Both leads were respectful to eachother and loved eachother from the very start, no unnecessary angst or deaths and there was even the last episode dedicated just to show how everyone moved on in their life which everyone demands in every other drama so what more can you ask for.
The ML couldn't treat FL well at all even in romantic mood he would grab her by the neck and will act like as if she is indecent towards him. I have always seen Zhang Ling He in nice roles so it was a bit hard to digest his role is this drama.
