Sigh, I need to vent a little. I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but it's frustrating that "4 Minutes" got…
Dont look too much into the trends on twitter imo. GMMTV shows generally get high numbers of hashtags/engagements bcs many of the established ship stans work closely together to trend the show (think of mass streaming by dedicated kpop fandoms for example) so it doesnt really represent an accurate measure of the show’s popularity or how it is received. My Stand In for instance didnt have a lot of engagement on twitter however it was by far the most popular show I think given the restrictions with the international fanbase regarding 4minutes being only on Viu it gives it a bit of disadvantage however the numbers its pulling given all that is still impressive heck even on other platforms like tiktok, bl forums on reddit (discussions reach up to like 400+ comments lol) and even tumblr I see more engagement for 4 minutes than any other show right now.
The day GMMTV get rid of these overused and horrendously over the top sound effects it would be a step into ppl taking their shows and actors seriously.
btw anyone noticing that even when Great actively “changes” the events of what he saw in his vision these changes end up not happening anyways? For instance when he left that flower bouquet at the nurse station instead of going into the room and leave it for the lady he hit…instead in Ep2 we see that the bouquet still ended up in the lady’s room the scene where Jes reads the card with Great’s full name on it.
Another week of torture ahhhhhhh so tough. I wonder how will the WinTonkla story unfold....in the first shot its clear that Tonkla was the one who was hitting the victim with the rock...hmmm will someone be corrupted in the name of love then....
The novel was fine though? Like what did you find cringeworthy? Or do you mean you are worried about how New will…
Yeah I read the YothaGun novel so I know the events. Yeah I agree with you not only the "flirting" scenes kissing/intimate scenes are way too awkwardly choreographed when he directs them (PondPhuwin in We Are recently....). All in all I hope Perth and Santa save it with their acting ig.
Just read YothaGun's part of the novel and I'm scared it'll be another cringe-fest in New's hands like We Are…

I have enjoyed the first episode enough but i cant help get uncomfortable watching the nc scene after knowing…
He turned 18 in January, they started filming this series in April, him and his parents fully consented and approved of these scenes. Also, an intimacy coordinator was hired specifically for these scenes to ensure the actors are comfortable and not burdened when filming these scenes.
