The drama started with her father getting killed then the arrival of the male lead. Before the father of the female lead died,he gave her a token to take to the Governor's house to prove that she's the daughter chosen to marry Fang Yu Ze(SML). She thought the male lead was the killer so she started accusing him of being the killer. Male lead forcefully took her away,she escaped andd went to the governor’s residence and told them that she's the real dong ting Yao but say🥲her step sister has already taken her identity. Female lead ended up becoming a maid to the male lead which he's the SML’s uncle

I really liked FIYS too but the female lead brought the drama down because of her lack of acting skills and chemistry. Real gamers weren't satisfied with the drama because of the romance genre🥲there were so many complaints regarding the drama and the last time I checked,it really had low rating on Douban,very low😭 it's only Xu Kai that benefitted from the drama,it increased his popularity but didn't help his career. I just hope She and Her perfect husband would cover his failed dramas up

I know of You are my glory,Reset,the oath of love,Go Go squid,Love o2o(I don't know if it's still considered good now😂)these are the dramas I'm sure of There are others but I don't know of them yet

Yeah Things in China are very different. Their Alisters rose to fame because of their successful historical dramas. Modern dramas are most of the time thrashed in China(like Falling Into Your Smile 🥲)I also prefer modern dramas as I'm still new to watching Historical dramas🤷I hoping the drama with Seven Tan is true too 🥺
The comments section is full of people describing how hot the ML is😅 he has to be super hot for everyone to be fantacized by him😂😂😂 it's making me want to watch it now🥲
