As for their story,I didn't read the novel so I can't go into details. I just know that in the novel, ying zi like zhuang yuan who was the ‘ hottest ’ guy in school while Jiang Yi liked her. Jiang Yi and ying zi ended up together though. Also, there was no ding ye existence kn the novel
