After watching subs - KSW is 34 years old and EH is 35 years old. How old was EH when JA got divorced? It looks highly likely that KSW might be JA bio son. I thought that there might be a birth secret with JS might be the bio mom.

I respect your judgement, but to me, I feel that I have to give her some room for the story to come out. If she was having TM being groomed as some have said, I say, she did something right. She wanted the child to learn from experience since she knew how his mother was / is and how his father behaves. Someone on another site, talked about patriarchy and how it weaves into the korean system and how women did not have much rights and the atrocious behavior of men in such households. TM must have seen all that and he said that he does not want to be like his grandfather when his mother told him to have HS as the side kick.

one thing about this drama is that issues are not sugar coated - many people in high positions do these and get away with it. I hope TM is taught a lesson for what he did to HS.

I don't know where does TM mom get this notion of class. She was from a lower class and hooked the drunken man so she could rise in her status. So, I wonder why should she be so surprised because, TM is following in his father's footsteps.

It was only discussed as to how the elderly Chairman differentiated between his two sons. Maybe TM's dad was not a smart alek - just like TH, and so was mistreated. This would be at least 40 - 60 years ago and that was a norm.
As a child I got spanked when I messed up. So, did my brother. My father was not abusive but strict. Adults, teachers were also the same.
In Korean culture, kids would get beaten by the cane. So, it was a different time. It was their way of instilling and directing the children in the right path.

Of late - with lot of research, there has been quite of lot of change with parents trying to understand their children and that is really good. But just blaming the grandmother for things out of her control is not right. Her husband also had an affair with the restaurant lady and looks like grandma made peace with that. Don't know the back story.

Now - if you talk about HS mom, I can say plenty that she has and still treats her child wrong. She was the adult and relied on a child - that too the youngest female to take the burden of the house and run it and manage all the incompetent older sibling, steal, manipulate and harass her at every step in her life.

I must be an odd one who do like TH and TM's grandmother. I can understand why she is curt and unfriendly. She has gone through hell, with the death of her second son and daughter in law while the older one and his evil partner (???) got rid of them, locked her up and threatening to kill off the grand child . So, she is lying low. All they (TM parents) want is the company. Grandma might be even aware that TM is not their bio grandchild. (May be Yeom...'s . ). Also, they got rid of many of the people who supported the grandparents from the company and from this world. So, she is pretty aware of the fact to what extent they would go in order to get the company.
She is caring to the landlady and even to the other residents - accommodating to their eccentricities.
If I was in her shoes, I would not even have the gumption to live anywhere close by. Go outside the house or even associate with others.
She has a soft spot to Hyoshim that I love very much.

Me too. I liked that he is standing up against his wife too. He needs to avoid going to her father's birthday. A tit for tat is the only way you can teach something to his wife.

HyoSung call Hyo Shim , the husband of the family to his mother, and a father to him, and the other siblings. She has held the family for so long, it make me feel sad that she cannot even have a life of her own. Now that the mother saw the writing on the wall of asking her out, she will do every filthy trick in the book to hold onto HyoShim. I really don't like that I hope the elderly ladies on the upper floor advises her to the right path.

I guess Koreans have strong liver since they are always drinking Soju, makkagoli and other stuff. They eat pigs feet, and other things to balance their Soju and constantly drinking some of ginseng tonic to combat the ill effects of alcohol. After work drinking parties are just the norm in Korean work life.

Reminds me of HateME from one of the prior shows who did unbelievably horrible things to her cousin SIL and got forgiven without and repercussions.

I was screaming at our dumb ES. Who lets these things go. ES does not know that it was HY who intentionally changed the schedule to send ES alone to the warehouse. It is surprising that SW too has not added these things together.

ES might be feeling indebted to HY for giving her the job. So, that might be the reason she is taking all this crap and in addition to this, she is a temp. I think SW has the right and should set this right. HE needs to tell the head of what happened, and how HY intentionally manipulated the order in order to lay blame to ES.

What would happen next?

Let me guess - Nobody will speak about it and ES will get fired. SW will make sure he talks to the producer to hire her as the actress in his movie. Looks like that is where it is going......
