I don't care I skipped to the ending and OMG brilliant ending. Side note, myself and the people I traded theories with are geniuses, pretty much happened exactly like we theorized, except for a couple twists. Not to toot my own horn but I called the shit out of this drama and so did quite a few people I saw in the comments and talked with. We should all just become detectives at this point. But the ending is everything we could ask for. Rough spoilers below.
The director mentioned in an interview he incorporated Hong Kong style action and was inspired by Hong Kong style…
Definitely, some cdrama actors that play a lot of romance roles just don't have the build or look to play tough action guys and vice versa (no hate they're still very good actors), but he plays both really well.
Why do I feel like MYZ is the actual bad guy? The fact that his wife looks traumatized after she went to his secret…
100% he's a bad guy, also a theory going around I think is possible, is that squid is MYZ, he did it to throw suspicion of himself, I think he may have killed the two executives, meanwhile JYW is just trying to kill MYZ, he's not actually squid. Just guesses though. But either way, the final bad guys are likely MYZ and JYW.
Yeh she was in a loop, possibly due to the drug she was given, the same drug that was given the rat FL was experimenting on. No confirmation though if it was due to the drug ro something else and no confirmation for sure if MYZ and JYW are loopers, but I think they both are. I think the final showdown will be between MYZ, JYW and ML.
Gosh, I'm so excited with everything they do in this drama, too. I love how they make the villains smart and the…
Yeh, I agree they have made the villain or villains very smart and I'm sure they'll have many more surprises to came.
And yeh, a sign of a good mystery thriller when you have a few grey characters that are all suspicious but you can't tell for sure who really is the villain. I hope the cops are all good but I agree, some suspicious behavior by that cop on his team.

Definitely like the mix, makes it nostalgic also for me makes it feel more realistic. Maybe it's not, but for me the mix of mandarin and cantonese, with the mix of actors and settings feels right. And thats interesting, ML learning both, again adds to the realism of the show, gotta appreciate when an actor puts in the effort also. I feel like Hong Kong action style I particular takes a lot of effort and practice, with good choreography but he executes it will in the drama.

100%, I wish more cdramas, especially modern police/crime ones would use more Hong Kong style, very entertaining and also very nostalgic, it stands the test of time.
He did mention that "there's a price to pay for every loop", but doesn't know what that price is... Yeah,…
Hahaha ikr, a few other pages can get a bit toxic but here's everyone's just peacefully discussing theories and stuff, and of course going crazy of BJT π today is the day, can't wait for express
They speak both mandarin and cantonese. What you're hearing sometimes that is weird is cantonese, while most cdramas…
No problem and it can sound similar for sure, depends on the person. Some people think they don't sound similar but there are many people who find them sounding similar. I knew someone back in university who was Thai, but had cantonese uncles/aunts, this person only spoke Thai, not Cantonese, they heard them both being spoken often around family and found some words sound very similar. So yeh, depends on the person but some people definitely find them sounding a bit similar.
This almost feels like a hong kong show which is also fast-paced and deals with a lot of police and crime, less…
The director mentioned in an interview he incorporated Hong Kong style action and was inspired by Hong Kong style action/police and crime shows, and it definitely shows in the drama I think
Does anyone know why the cops reacted like that at the end of episode 10 when Jiang Yuwenβs search came up?
It was just cause they were running facial recognition to try and find him/what he looks like now but couldn't find him. The results came up with no identification, so they were frustrated, they know he's out there but can't find him/identify him.
So true, love how they don't overlap, we see different perspectives, things that happened we didn't see before and we see changes and keep getting more clues and backstory.
Saw a confirmation btw express package will drop today (21st) episodes 14-16 (on top of the usual ep 12/13), 12pm China time, check my discussion for the official poster. This is for vip members or people that want to purchase on iqiyi, don't think Netflix will have express.
Did Mo Yuanzhi mistakenly believe that his drug was the reason the early-stage subject appeared miraculously healthy…
Pretty much yeh, they thought the RAN drug cured her. Whether it was terminal lucidity or the drug actually did help her for those 7 seven days, it's unclear. But either way her condition deteriorated quickly after, so she was never cured. At best the drug may have just given her temporary relief.
Rough spoilers below.
