There were parts of this drama that were great, but the momentum wasn't always there for me. I enjoyed the story, but felt it was missing a little something. great acting though!
we're already done with two thirds of the show, yet the secondary leads have had only one conversation that didn't…
I personally think its great that they're building the individual character arcs, rather than solely selling them as a filler couple who just do googly eyes inbetween the main story, it adds more depth... it may not be going at the expected pace, but why does that make their story any less believable? love isnt always linear, plus we have no idea at what point their story will end on the show... I doubt they'll be getting married 😕
may be a little controversial, but I dont think the FL was needed for this drama. perhaps as a supportive role, but I dont think her story/acting added much as an adult... plus the chemistry was nil, so it made it hard to care
the main family dynamic was much more interesting imo
Overall, it’s good, but the fact that almost every Kdrama main couple has a “childhood story” together is…
these are just typical kdrama troups... I did roll my eyes when the childhood story appeared but I half expect it now.
I did research this recently and apparently the concept of fated love 'inyeon / 인연' is very important in romantic relationships. so love usually isn't about finding someone new, it's about 'returning'/'remembering', like a full circle moment.
This is where I think - im assuming here - that as foreign viewers, we may not always be aware of a cultural significance in the story telling. so its best to just take it as it is... or learn more about it for better understanding

there have been other covers, but this is the original :)

I really enjoyed it and suggest giving it a chance
