He doesn't seem to covet the throne (I mean there tons of officials in china n korea who usurped the throne bcuz they really wanted to sit as king/emperor). I think his goal is a stable monarch Joseon, in his way. He know s many officials in court harbor dissatisfaction toward the royal and fight for power relentlessly, I think he looks at them in disdain too. And he foresees that the royal is weak as chicken. So he manipulate both officials and the royal to reach his goal, even with bloody way. PGW, even without Lee Tae begging, would still save the crown prince to become his puppet.
I'm an old fan on HYD and Meteor Garden. Comparing this series to previous Hana Yori Dango, I think Hana Nochi Hare is on par or maybe way better. From storyline to plot setting. The acting and chemistry among leads are good too. Those people who ever watched HYD will appreciate and understand better this Hanadan because in every second, Kaguragi often mention about F4 Domyoji. Kaguragi is like a mirror of Domyoji but more hilarious. LOL I like Oto as much as I like Makino. But Makino is more stubborn and prideful.

I watched it long long time ago. Not expect anything but I find it interesting drama. Each episode has different case. I know it seems unbelievable and like a joke by how the patients changed drastically from head to toe after getting PS. lol
So far I have watched 4 eps...I think I'll watch it to end for the sake of Haruka Ayase. She never fails to pick interesting project. As for Toma's appearance, is a bonus. XD

Sato looks here no differ with him in The Booth or Phone Booth something horror movie and older dramas. anyway.....some people possess certain gen that make their hair won't get grey/white easily .even in their 60's or 70's something they still maintain black hair. but please note that stress/depression, food intake, chemical hair products could also contribute to hair color change.
actually.....there's nothing special with the drama. everything in the drama is in decent level. if you don't have reason to watch this, then you'll get bored easily. I watch this bcuz I adore KSR.
When I saw this drama and watched it for few episodes, and later dropped it, I thought "what was the writer thinking?" . This is another good girl fell into hell willingly, not pushed by others. This drama seemed to convey a message that good girl could change a bad boy -no matter how dirty and complicated he was. In fact, she can't and we cannot change people's heart too. Girls please don't do it. don't waste your time for a trash, especially when he was involved with violence or romantic affairs. There will be something like karma and retribution in the future waiting for him. People who get close with him as partner or spouse automatically will get problem. If you know your worth, you'll find and get the man you deserve.
