I just finished reading the novel (thanks for sharing a pdf) and is now doubly excited for the live adaptation. I think the novel ML and FL are a perfect match; casting of the leads looks good. But, where is Jiang Chun? Hope they maintain the level of wealth of the Cens, especially Cen Sen :)

I understand XZ choices in the Lucheng battle, but I still wished they gave him longer and better fighting scenes. I want to actually see why he is such a revered Marquis.

This is my first time watching Kim Mu Jun, liked him instantly from the first scene -- he looks like BTS Jin. :)

Looks like a combination of several vertical drama tropes - fiance cheats then marry the powerful uncle, saving life of powerful CEO, adopted daughter favored over biological daughter, taking care of dead friend's sister who is obsessed with CEO and causing misunderstanding, ++ Like vertical dramas, illogical, annoying but quite addicting and entertaining. I like that the FL is not a pushover.

This is actually very good. Pacing is just right, casting and acting is good too. The quality of mini dramas has been really improving recently.

I just finished Ep 5 and I can't really understand why Bai Shuo is so mad at Chong Zhao. They grew up together as family, and just because he did not reveal he is eternal? If she has been studying immortals for so long, she should have known that they are not allowed to reveal their identity? Why can't she understand? She did not even show concern when FY was hitting CZ at her father's grave. Even if you are mad, shouldn't you still be concerned if a very close family member or friend is hurt?

Kudos to Hae In, to me, he really makes SH look so much in love with SR. Hae In makes me believe that 'I love You' is not enough to express how SH feels for SR.

Same, I have been wondering since the early episodes why SR is not helping with family finances. Is she just saving her money? I assume she has substantial amount of savings, as her mom even mentioned in Ep 1 that she gets huge incentives. She was a manager at a very prestigious company, Greip (parallel to Apple?), for a decade. She only "stopped" working for a year, but likely on sick leave with some pay. Health insurance could have paid for medical expenses, even as a worker (not a citizen), she would have health insurance from the employer. Over the years, while she was working, was she not regularly sending money home to improve the family's financial standing? Is it not customary for Koreans to regularly send money when working abroad?

DYX looks so manly and healthy in this drama. I like his aura. He has matured well but I still think he looks like Jack Frost.

Loving this so far. Love that it seems light but tackles heavy concepts like stereotypes, discrimination, burnout, dreams, ideals, expectations... Also, that ML and FL seem to bicker a lot but they do have serious conversations reflecting their deep understanding of each other. Plus, great casting and acting!
