I'm a little disappointed...? I had super high hopes for it, and it was fine but that's all it was for me. I found myself pressing the forward button a lot. There was a lot that was definitely good about it, but something was just missing...
I feel like there is almost always such a difference of opinion between international viewers like on this website and actual Korean netizens. The drama was incredibly well received in Korea I heard...
I put off watching this drama for a long time because of all the bad reviews here, but I was in a drama slump and thought why the hell not, and oh man what a rollercoaster. I finished it in a day lmao. It is a makjang and people tend to hate on makjangs, but this one was actually good. It had like 3 sex scenes and maybe some passionate kissing but that was it. It's a drama meant for a mature audience, and plot wise, the romance aspect of it is pretty dark. So if that is not your cup of tea you shouldn't watch it.
The plot maybe could've been better but it was quite good overall. Seo Yea Ji can act pretty well. And the second male lead is a total hottie who has eyes only for SYJ's character. Definitely worth a try!
I'm really curious as to how she bagged the lead role despite only starring in 2 dramas before this that too in guest roles...
It would've made sense if both Lee Jae Wook and Lee Jun Young are also rookie actors who don't have experience under their belt but both of them are the top of the game, so how come she got the lead role when her acting is so bad...
