it seems like in the preview of ep 31, they really deviated from the novel. i'm excited to see it cause i think it will be more dramatic.

i'm also curious to see how changyu will gain her military merits. she was supposed to be in the jizhou army to do that while xie zheng is somewhere else. i guess they changed this because they don't want our leads to separate again.

i watched on wetv and it said "best wife". i'm off to watch in iqiyi to see the translation there 🥰🥰🥰

they should've kept these lines from the novel. when i was reading this, i was literally crying because they're so sweet.

in the novel, xz is totally okay with fcy slapping him when he kisses her. he just says "just don't hit me too hard" lol
