The cast is so full of stars. Is it because of the drama being a popular one and everyone want's to play in it or was it shot before the secondary characters actors became A-listers?

Hopefully it will be a good drama. Just...it's my fav novel and fav character and I would love to see the character of Chu Yu in her full glory and the dilemma romance of ML going through all these complicated emotions about his sis in law.

Is it just me or was ep 15 especially brutal? Was it made by a different director? The scene when our little cat gets trapped was soooo scary! I had a jumpscare.

I only watched ep 1 for now and am feeling similar. Very rushed. I think the censure messed this drama up for us novel readers & made it very mid for all other watchers. The revival plot in the novel made so much more sense. Same with how she didn't rly choose to go back to the army but was running away from murder...
I bet actors did their job well, costumes don't look terrible.. so I will stay no matter how bad it gets ;P
