personal opinion: the drama is better than the novel. I read it before watching the show.
The novel is extremely long (over 1000 pages) and extremely explicit with a lot of 18+ content. It's written well and interesting but there’s a lot of filler plots that aren't in the show. Chi Cheng is also way more toxic in the novel.

FINALLY got around to watching this after not enjoying the first season. This one was such an improvement. This is coming from someone who dropped Cutie Pie halfway through. Personally, I thought it was incredibly beautiful, and finally my interest has been piqued to watch the next prince
so.. the show is split in two parts. Part 1 focuses on first couple Phayu and Rain. Part 2 focuses on second couple Pai and Sky. You can skip to episode 8 if you just wanna watch the second couple 🩷
