He is as deluded as the other demon. Worse even, it only took him two to three weeks worth of episodes to get to that point. Instead of it being a whole descent into insanity like with manic bullshit fairy, he planted his ass into delulu land right away and declared "yep, this is where i am staying."

Nothing about is actually about Yeondoo actually, but it is all about power, possession (YD) and pride. Taekyung has hurt the latter deeply in "taking away" what "belonged to him before" and fuckboi cannot stand it. So now he wants his toy back, even if it is just to spite TK which brings us back to how it never is about YD, how he never respected her and still does not, least of all her agency and wishes. It is all about himself only and his frail frail fraaaaaail ego that he needs to satisfy and feed. (this reminds me i should to work further on that character analysis of this trashbag in regards of YD tho. )

I would be less miffed about it were it not as contrived as it is now. The whole house lease thing is so damn stupid it hurts my brain. Plus the purgatory ponies prancing around them now without relent and they are getting too much of their attention when they should outright ignore these assholes. Since this is the worst you can do to them, robbing them of all importance, but nope we are probably gonna see those demons succeed with some of their idiotic schemes. And of course dad being his stupid gullible self who will force them to break up due to a rumor. Seemed impossible before but seeing this dude for more than a minute an episode it is not as far fetched anymore, since he lacks all common sense. But yeeeeeah i hate the break up trope in general, but i hate it even more when it feels like an asspull for the heck of it and to bring on some manufactured angst. Aka press button, be sad instead of it being a natural result of the plot/story progress that the leads have to work through to come stronger out of that experience.

The goal of zero minutes seems so unachievable now alas 😭It was a very annoying episode in my books outside the few moments of light in form of TK/granny (my fave this episode) the breakfast scene, YD defending TK instead of reacting shocked/disgusted/in pain like dumb drusilla thought she would (lmao she was there when YD dissembled his family for treating TK like shit, right?) leads making up (aka we were getting a taste of how their break up dynamic will be as they hugged = YD thinking TK is too good for her so she won't approach him/not wanting to be a burden to him, aka showing royally noble idiocy and TK well being frikkin miserable and barely able to function, if at all. This gonna be fun times, ugh) and how YM starts to get interested in DW for real. But that is it for that episode.

I miss Inok bc the more i see her husband the less i like him. He was cool in small doses, appearing on screen here and there but as character for extended scene and plot he is too frustrating to watch due to his stupidity. Or rather he is so very gullible that you wonder how this company has not gone under yet. i actually see now how he is gonna demand them to break up due to some rumors, and thus run smiling into alienating his wife and son like a lunatic.
