Why wei shao hasn't kicked lady youlou out ?? He clearly know that she was lying and falsely accusing qiao ci…
Probably in deference to his deceased brother. Due to what happened in the past, she pretty much gets a free pass as long as she doesn't threaten them outwardly.
Maybe I completely missed it, but what is the age difference between Wei Shao and Lady Yu Luo? I thought they were around the same age...but his older brother was engaged to her and at the time, Wei Shao was just a child. Is she quite a bit older than Wei Shao? It would be creepy if they were around the same age since it would mean Wei Shao's brother was engaged to a literal child.
why do i feel that the story is slowing down and I'm a little bored at ep 21. I know their romance is a slow burn…
It is starting to feel that way. We're already 23/36 episodes and nothing big has happened yet. That makes me think the ending is going to be really rushed.
I like Wei Yan a lot too - I find him to be the most interesting character in this story. Liu Duanduan has done…
Wei Yan and the generals make me nervous. It's never smart to love them too much since nearly every historical romance drama shows that the male friend group always dies.
Maybe it's how the actor is portraying the character, but I'm really loving Wei Yan's trajectory. He's quite a pitiful character and really could go either way (whether it's allied with our leads or against them). It's also really interesting to see him fall in love with Xiao Qiao. His character in the beginning really made me question his motives but seeing him choose the Wei family only to possibly betray them once he realizes he covets his cousin's wife is quite a turn of events. It's not so much that he falls for her, it's the how/why, She's obviously the first person who's ever truly believed in him as a person but it's also clear he's mistaking gratitude/admiration for romantic love. Maybe it's also because he envies the trust Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao have in each other, but like so many, he only saw the end result and not the countless battles in between that caused them to form such a bond. I'm nervous to see him turn against them, but because the actor is doing such a good job with the character, I'm also excited to see how far he'll go.
Its not great obviously but I am curious, if you were in their shoes with this set of circumstances, what would…
I think I'm at a point where miscommunication doesn't work for me anymore. If I'm rooting for a couple, they need to be a united front, which is why I loved dramas like The Blossoming Love, The Starry Love and Blossom but actually hated Till the End of the Moon. Personally (and everyone is free to disagree), I find that trope dated and pointless, not angsty.
Some people say RanRan has been showing preference to SY and yet the drama has shown so far that that has not…
I don't see her give any "extra" affection towards SY at all. If anything, she's just formal with him. I wouldn't even say she considered him a friend, just an acquaintance.

It' a great flaw in many dramas: lack of communication. She did a lot to protect him but it actually turned him since he thought she was abandoning him. In this life, he's protecting her but she thinks he still yearns for his master. Not communicating is annoying because it shows a great lack of trust. If MQG had talked to him about his identity and the spring instead of doing things her way, it wouldn't have resulted in him aligning with her sister and betraying her. He now carries guilt because of it and it's one of the reasons he doesn't think he deserves to be with her. Likewise, he keeps the truth from XRR and it's making her doubt herself. Ideally, they'd lay their cards out and let the other person choose. Choice is the greatest form of respect and love.
Mu Ran Wu is such a pathetic character. Out of jealousy, she was able to help kill her sister (the only person who actually loved her) and steal her spirit roots and power over a MAN that MQG didn't even want. And really, she can't even disguise her vile nature. SYS was brilliant to let her take on MQG's identity to divert all the attacks to her. She's the very definition of someone who takes from others but doesn't understand what to do with that power because it wasn't earned. I'm glad SYS is written as a smart character. He put in a lot of effort and precautions in place to protect her once she was reborn. Hopefully nothing bad happens before she regains her memories.
Not that I don't like XRR, but I miss MQG. I'm thinking XRR won't remember everything until her roots are returned to her but it feels like the pacing slowed down since the relationship between ML and FML needs to be developed.
So incredibly grateful we got a Demon Lord ZM and Ah Zhu reunion. It's always interesting to see that when given the choice, we still choose the same path.

SML is soooo annoying. He met her first TWICE and can't get it into his thick head that she doesn't want him.
At least Ran Ran trusts SYS, YXW doubted and suspected TTJ of every evil thing that happened.
