it's not !! don't know what's happening with the ratings when you look at it objectively, the controversy is ridiculous, so far she touched a man naked (top only), in summer you would hug your male pal the same way at the swimming pool for ex, there was nothing inappropriate while those people r watching underage pop idols doing suggesting/vulgar poses... the world is really upside down😅😅

i'm liking it too so far, and i don't get why so many bad comments compare to other dramas that don't get any and r not good🤔, never seen so much negativity for a drama... and no the masses are not always right...many high profile dramas have been praised but full of flaws... this one is pretty decent... hope is doing ok in China tho

i watched PA last month, not 10 years ago when it came out, so it's pretty fresh, yes first episode i thought about the other actors, only ZLY and Shawndou(and Deng Lun) , cos the ml was so stiff back then...but by ep 2 i was immersed in those new ones,
In PA Achu was played by a 27 years old woman portraying a 17 y/o... and they critisize a 17 years playing a 20years old having no depth😅, and i didn't know before starting that she was the incredible younger version of achu back then, so she does have some experience and a suitable one at that...

Some will say the acting was amazing in PA, it was good but not consistant, some scenes were incredible while others were just ok etc... they didn't do a second season back then and they could not have the same actors playing the same roles so it's just nostalgia...
Now that being said, i don't know how those not having seen PA will understand everything, they didn't even explain like with a voice off at the starts the set up, like the bases, the regions, main characters etc... and they keep redoing the scenes so people will understand(but it must be confusing 🤔) , which means less new stuff...

i can give you more context if you want😊, but you can watch PA too and fast forward some scenes, the second half is better

She was a slave ending up in Zhuge's mansion as kinda maid,he trained her to be a spy(cos she had crazy martial skills) and fell in love with her, well lot of guys fell in love along her aventures😅
her adventures meaning she was always searching for her past:
-how it started, she remembers her mum teaching her fighting techniques cos she was special,when her mother left she went looking for a man as instructed by her mum, at that point she was looked after/adopted by him that's where her sister/brother come from
-She left to pursue her calling but after a fight, she lost her memories and that's how she ended up in a slave hunt (the wolves) and then a maid as she's the only that survives, they kept her.
The hunt is where it all started, Yan being a participant and Zhinge a witness but the only 2 that didn't joy killing any slaves and helping her.

Yan has always been super close to her and she grew a huge affection for him, but after his family being killed by the emperor (Zhuge lives in the emperor's quarters), he grew very thirsty for revenge, it completely change his personnality which is very understandable but made it harder for her to keep fighting next to him against the emperor as she doesn't want innocent to suffer

i watched PA before this so it's pretty fresh in my mind, and i don't understand the negative comments, ok i just watched the 1st episode but still i'm already surprised by the acting of Yan and Chu, it feels like the same ! they did a good job, especially her knowing she was only 17 filming this,
About the quality, don't know if i would have understand without watching PA, but 1st ep sums it up pretty well(maybe you can't feel the depth yet of everyone's feelings and some details) , hope they won't do too many flashbacks either cos we wanna know what happens next !

just finished 1st episode, don't know how much i would understand without having the very fresh PA in my mind, but i find it's pretty well done, it's the same, the only difference i'd say you can't feel the depth of everyone's feelings but they might show it along the way, PA ended in a cliffhanger kinda, so hope they will keep the story going and not just showing flashbacks

if someone understood everything in ep15, i have questions😅

even if i didn't catch every details in ep 15, when i watched the first ep didn't think i'll get hooked, but kept watching cos the acting was even better than expected and the whole quality around , had to get used with the slow motion way of talking from the foxes at first, but by ep 6 i was hooked !! such an interesting story !

waow the storyline after the fox murder case is even better, the acting is very good from the start

it's good to see good endings ! it was a nice watch, a bit too dramatic at times but that's Korean touch😅

was it worth it ? no ! very disappointed cos they drag it to the very last minutes, sorry, i have to skip tthe spoiler to let other know so they won't waste 10h...

i didn't know last ep was today, just saw it, wooooorst ending ever !!! sooo disappointed, he even looked relief at he end...

aftet watching ep5, they keep calling Xiawei 'her' or sister, then 'he', so is he a she in disguise or a he😅
And i thought the victims took their heart by themselves cos of the spell but they say it's a fox🤔

just watched ep9 we can't tell yet ! well it doesn't look good... still hoping tho...

ep3, laughing in front of the child corpse is very weird and bad taste, strange to have done a scene like this 🤔

just watched one episode so far but have some questions about the synopsis, it say Lu wu yi is disguised as a priest, where ? she infiltrated Wei manor as the wife to be, and the voice asked Wang Yan to find Xia Wei, not the sister Lu wu who has the mission to get close to Ji Lings, so is there a mistake in the synopsis or i misunderstood ?

there's no '9 episodes', people watching it back then on tv had more episodes because it was shorter (from what i understood) so 58 episodes is the same but longer episodes, it ends the same way

same, could not believe it was made in 2016,look more like the 80's😅
the actrice in' Rebirth' is so young that it should mean it's a remake probably with a closure compare to the end of the other one that clearly look unfinished, so no need to watch it😁
