Episode 22 really had me go through a whole roller coaster of emotions🙂↔️ and honestly am not sure I will be getting my heart back anytime soon because this show has stolen it.
You guys, SML was actually quite pitiful today I almost felt sorry for him. Like I almost wanted to root for him. Also his female coworker is less terrible than Rong.
is it just me whos getting second lead syndrome idk if its because the ML has small screentime in earlier episodesbut…
You know that one person who has potential but still needs to work on himself, that's the SML, it is hard for someone from a poor background to hang around a rich person who is also nice because you have no reason to hate them, yet you're forced to see clearly every day how unfair life is because you can easily make the comparisons. So he needed to deal with all that before he can be good enough for the FL. Otherwise, they'd never even have a chance as a couple if he resents her because her life has been so easy and his quite the opposite.
Makes sense, he never gets approval from his father and the man always praises Ji Hyeok, but to want to ruin him for that? Hmmm; his villainy doesn't give me enough motive for why he'd target the ML. Maybe if he was threatened, his father would leave the inheritance to Ji Hyeok if he married his sister.
She knows it's inevitable that ML will be given her position as CEO by daddy. It's uncommon for a bastard to rule…
I get that she is an illegitimate child, but their father literally ruined his marriage for her and has also given her opportunity in the company. I get he prefers his son; the legitimate heir, but from my point of view he hasn't discriminated much against the children like most do. Most do not even acknowledge them, much less look after them. Which now makes me wonder; Is there a point where they wronged her so bad she has a reason to hate them?
I just don't understand, why is the MLs half sister going so far to inherit the company? Like, why does she hate the family so bad. Did I miss her backstory or what...? Also, SFLs brother is so evil, but I do not understand his motives either.
So our female lead woke up and decided to let her inner demons rule. I guess this is closure for the redemption arc I was hoping for, despite knowing I was never going to get it.
