quite funny how in every argument they have she will somehow manage to compliment his looks and then he becomes confused lmaoooo

srsly i felt like i was in a drama drought recently from both kdrama and cdrama sides and decided to start this. I was really hoping it wasnt like Light shop where the pacing was just very slow but to my surprise i finished this in a few hours in one binge. i enjoyed how the director managed to connect all the characters somehow like wow the flow was straightforward

finally a well directed thriller after soooo long! all the connections were so good

sighh they never make good ending anymore...

are the leads good? not much motivation to start this...

the start was interesting and fun then although there were some twists thrown but it still started to feel draggy. After awhile felt like i was watching an older kdrama but! overall it’s still not bad!

loved the directing of this drama T.T the switch between the past and present was so natural as well.

surprisingly park bogum doesnt feel like the lead in this cause his scenes are so short :( IU however has so many scenes and really kudos to her... she needs to cry almost every episode.. must be so tiring to act

the plot is like from 10 years ago but its still one of the most popular plots in kdramas lol. At least the FL is smart and strong and not thattt annoying to watch. Their moments are cute and there is tension but this drama is better to binge watch it. i watched 10 eps in one night haha

ah this started out well but then it has become so draggy and predictable...and they just keep throwing in issues so that she suffers.

does this drama have 2 seasons? last year it was reported for 2 parts 40eps and 24eps but now its 32 eps so... is there still a part 2? if they had 64 eps planned omg to cut that in HALF?? how much did they remove?? and even with everything removed how is the pacing so good??

same! i started this without much expectations but i was so shocked by the pacing and execution

weirdly im not sure why its rated like this here cause its actually so good and based on the comments below most of the ppl are enjoying it as well

the advice given by MIss Yun was so nice as well "everyone has their strengths and weaknesses but we have to rely on the capable people beside us and place them in a position suited for them" enjoying how realistic this drama is

ermm i think my post was taken as im defending sheng yi lolll im not i was just saying that it makes sense for people with such characters to exist in the drama and that the plot execution is good given the era they are in

yes the shengyi betrayal foreshadowing is there now but we cant blame her cause technically women in that era were raised being taught that they need to rely on the men to survive. But Mudan has a very different mindset. Mudan also kinda figured out Shengyi has very different beliefs from her... I feel like sheng yi will go back to her husband in the end ...

this drama is so good i honestly didnt think i would enjoy it this much

this drama is really good i love how its simple not complicated and really easy to follow. The cinematography is also so pretty. Although i do foresee complications coming up in the following eps but still so far i like it
