I don’t know how long I’ll keep coming back to this site just to check if there’s an air date already. I badly want to see them ASAP. I’m sure they’re gonna nail the chemistry department judging by the teasers. We’re gonna cry and suffer, but it feels good that it’s with this pair. I trust that they can deliver emotionally heavy scenes.

It’s been 1 year since her hiatus and it is just so unfortunate that she doesn’t have a project yet. But I would like to see her get paired up with Park Bo Gum.

This is no doubt going to be a hit drama. I mean it’s chengyi and yangzi together, the king and queen of angst.

Came here because I thought I was the only one feeling detached from the story. I loved the visuals. Loved Yukee Chen in AoL, but her performance here is should i say… underwhelming? Can’t feel the chemistry and I can’t find the emotions I’m looking for on both the leads. They could only show us cold expressions of them all throughout. I’m so sorry. But I’m gonna give this a try for a few more episodes. Maybe it’s gonna get better.

Yep just asked because I saw some being disappointed. I have seen HMH in Back From The Brink behind scenes and he looks very fine and I thought his looks is so much fitted for costume dramas like how I think of Chengyi. I agree no need to worry about chemistry, YZ has the ability to work on it.

Tell me I am not the only one who thinks this is an absolute visual feast. They are slaying with their divine looks.

Personally, I don’t really mind Yz playing a fantasy genre again. Even other famous actors like her tend to repeat the same theme. And i think she got diverse works in between though. Most importantly she nails each of her character in Xianxias and she’s really good in portraying heavy scenes which is most evident in costume dramas. She’s that actress whose emotional scenes are most satisfying to watch. I can watch her fantasy works on repeat and never get tired. Nyways can’t wait for this to materialize !! surely this will be a really good one.

I kept replaying the two trailers together and it makes me even more excited. Just the videos itself are already overflowing with angst and chemistry. This is beautifully poignant! Any estimation for the post production? Because this is the only xianxia I am so hyped about that I CAN NOT WAIT to see it anymore. What a treat that it's Cheng Yi and Yang Zi are portraying the characters. Yes, I am ready to receive the pain for them!

but ngl the waiting game for this drama is very hard. yang zi has lists of dramas waiting to be released so are we gonna wait for this for like one to two years? that’s a long wait but i’m not gonna complain as long as they give the best to these pairing

hoping Agarwood Like Crumbs will turn out to be a good drama. come on, my legendary pairing dream is finally coming true. i want this to be the best for them! hopefully everything goes well although there are a bit rough circumstances going on rn.

i really need this drama to sail well for both of them. i hope the production can give justice to these two great actors and give the best quality. they better not waste their potentials!

I really enjoyed the first two episodes, and so far, this drama is quenching my goguryeo era thirst. I am totally in love with the set so I hope the production team can maintain it until the end because I have seen many dramas that are not really consistent with this part so I hope it's the otherwise for this case. As for the story, the progress is really fast especially the romance between pyeonggang and ondal. I compared the first two episodes with the synopsis written here and it says that pyeonggang will only use his feelings to achieve her goals but in the drama, it seems to not follow its own synopsis? In my own preference, I think the writer should take time to build their romance part. That's my only concern, I think the drama is somehow taking the other direction and doesn't match with the synopsis they released. But despite of that, I am excited for the second half and see ondal's transition as a general. Maybe that's the part where pyeonggang got confused with her priorities: will she choose love or her nation? Well, let's find out and how both of their journey into becoming the country's warriors will change their relationship. So excited!!

I really enjoyed the first two episodes especially how Kim So Hyun’s fighting and action skills are giving me satisfaction. She literally nailed her swordsmanship skills and got her moves in sync. I just watched the behind scenes, her laugh is a medicine! But the part I kept on replaying is her war scene. She looks so good in those that I can’t stop watching. Hoping they will release queen yeon’s action scenes with Kang Ha Neul soon!

She’s only playing the mother in the first half. Queen Yeon and adult princess Pyeonggang is not going to intersect in the drama. I do not see anything wrong with it. In fact, I like it. This drama is breaking the barriers that leads should only stick to their main roles. And to be honest, I don’t think it would be a disaster but rather an interesting factor for me :)) You can judge the drama when it airs. As of now, please don’t go overboard with your “disastrous assumptions” without even actually seeing it. Just a matter of preference. You may not like seeing her do the queen role but some actually does.

I think it’s a combination of both. Since On Dal and Pyeonggang are historical figures, the drama will lose its essence if they don’t include the romance of the two. The only difference is that in their real story, On Dal was more emphasized but in this drama, it will focus on Pyeonggang, her fight for Goguryeo and On Dal who is willing to do anything for her despite knowing that she’s just using his heart.
