When it took each god to make the array, it now takes every single disciple in all sects (I suppose even the Chixiao Sect, now that their worthless leaders are gone...) but he really is just hellbent to destroy TTJ (for XL?)

LSS admitted it, but she expressed her wish that he could do it, to prove that he truly had a pure and beautiful heart.

Oh LSS, you will never know he had a good heart because YOU FELL ASLEEP!!!😡😡😡😭😭😭

...and then going back to that New Year's eve that was the start of their bonding together...😭

...LSS rightly pointing out that if TTJ really set himself on the path of evil, why did he care to create a Bo're dream based on their life in the Sheng kingdom? She almost caught him there.

...then reminiscing about MY and SJ's ill-fated love story. TTJ thinking about how MingJiu's story was just a footnote in the grander story of the war of gods and devils, and that if not for the Bo're dream, it would have been forgotten in time (that's 10K years too!😅). He had to point out how that makes love insignificant. Of course LSS counters this by pointing out that MY is an honorable god of war who saved many lives, and tho he may have failed SJ, he saved the world. TTJ, who in LSS's eyes is only a greedy person, unworthy being compared to MY, wouldn't understand their love.
(Erm, what?)

...of course, first exchanging barbed words towards each other🥺💔

TTJ and LSS having one last talk on the dragon chariot...💔

TTJ using the power of DG to undo whatever SY and JM did to the Yiyue tribe....and waking NBY up....somewhere.😅 To do what, only the deleted scenes can tell.

Meanwhile, PYZ being helpful in giving Frankie the Celestial ...Array incantation to help destroy DG (so he thinks).

QXZ already warned Frankie about using evil power to gain power... "Even if the intention to use evil to fight evil, ...one will be bewitched by the evil energy and will become a puppet of the devil".

Which is exactly what happens to him.😑 tsk tsk Gongye Jiwu. Even if it is PYZ's fault from creating you from questionable sources, you made your choices, man.

Aww.. the baby sect chiefs are gathering to discuss what to do with TTJ marrying LSS🥺

Frankie getting baaaaad ideas about gaining strength fast... and being a bad disciple too!😠Not listening to your Shifu!😠

It really hurts that the only person to help TTJ achieve his goal is the one person he didn't want to get involved🥺😭

This faceoff also brings to mind all the dramas and movies about angels and demons... like why exactly are these supposedly powerful beings fascinated by the lives of mortals? Some stories answer that it's their inevitable mortality, that mortals live their lives as fully as they can knowing that it could end anytime, which is fascinating to these immortal beings. Some stories answer it's the way mortals swing from good to bad, and vice versa, and the greyness of their morality when these angels and demons only know one thing, good or bad, with no inbetween. Some stories say it's the way the mortals face their inevitable fates, how they try to go against their assigned fates when these superior beings couldn't.

This drama contained them all, and what makes this drama unforgettable to me is how it portrayed the conundrums of being human.🥺

"Tantai Jin... no matter if it's you becoming me, or I becoming you, the outcome is still the same... You are the only Devil God now."

And with that, TTJ now learns how the AIDW could be stopped, and how the DG could be destroyed forever. When he only meant to make LSS hate him so she could leave him and go far away from him, he now has to make her cut off her ties with him so she could ascend into becoming a true god who can defeat DG🥺

Being an omniscient god must suck.🥺😅 TTJ be thinking "Ignorance is truly bliss"😅🤣
